I found the sign up for the embarkation meet.

Question on the name tags:confused:
Are we going to write our name on the tags when we get there, or are you going to print that on them?

If you want to print the names, I can add a line for the names of those who will be attending.

For the FE exchange does anybody already have their pocket things? How much did they cost? If you made them...howd you make them?

So, does the questions about making an FE mean that you want to sign up to take part of the FE exchange.

Let me know so I can get you officially added to the list.

And my FE is not made yet ( :scared1: yes, I know supper planner Tink does not have one made yet)

I got a cowboy boot, boot bag (you know the whole Texas theme with the door and all). I was planning on sewing the 2 bags together (one bag for each boot). Then, making pockets in the outer one on which I hope to put each of our character names.

I hope it works....My original idea to expand a stuffed parrot (for Iago) into a set of pockets hit a wall when I could not find a stuffed parrot.

I also thought of using slippers attached to a strip of material, but that seemed to be to cumbersome for luggage.

Any who, we will see what ends up outside our door.

Sounds like a good theme for one of your monthly planning parties! "FE Making" :thumbsup2

I signed up for the exchange on yahoo, but it doesn't show that I did unless you search up my name. Can you check that my name shows up, please?

Yes we are:thumbsup2
As a matter of fact, there are 4 families going from Texas.

We are working on trying to have a meet before the trip. Maybe at a Round Rock baseball game.

We also have been talking about 'Team Texas' shirts. I have designed some shirts for us all to wear during the cruise one day.

As for the FE list, I will look on the group page in a bit. We also have a list on here as well for those who do not get on to the group page ::yes::. So, I will up date the list and add you to it in the next post.

And just a reminder, if you are not on this list and want to be, just let me know. We don't want to leave anyone out that wants to share in the fun of FE gifts

At this point there is rumor we may be loosing 1 more cabin as well. I will let you know as soon as they give me a definite yes or no.

We live in the suburbs of Dallas how bout y'all? Also, my daughter would like to get on of your magic genie shirts that I saw on the yahoo group, how can I buy one of those?

"Bajamama~I am working on trying to come up with the extra funds and to be at the parks at least the Friday before if not Thursday too. Funds are the biggest problem, as my husband will be furloughed one day a week starting the first of July until the trip. But if we can figure it out we would love to meet up with you. It would be DH, DD, DD, DS (all 6 yr) and myself.

Debbie"

Sorry to have taken so long to respond to this. :sad2: Unfortunately, DH and I will not be available to meet you at Disney World in the days before the cruise.
We will have to wait to meet everyone onboard.
BTW, I tried to order the shirts as polo style shirts but the order was rejected with an apology. Vista print said they couldn't make it small enough for polos and still keep the detail. Still I got some items at a great deal.

Counting the days (and hours) till I can book excursions!!

I bought mine from etsy.com its a crafters site that I also sell on... I paid 40 for mine but it was fairly intricate... U can get them for around 25 and when u think about buying the materials and trying to make it yourself... It is worth it if u don't sew like me... :)

I will have everyone write their name... Basically these are the stick on variety that I am just printing to make them look cute :)

First let me start by letting you know there was just a post on the group page about the groupon...it says "Just an FYI you can still get the deal if you look it up under Phoenix,AZ. Its the 17$ for a 70$" voucher

Which is an awsome deal...my voucher was for $60 and we got 5 shirts, a bag and a note book. If you do not have a groupon account, I can get you the link.

Then, I can walk you through the whole process with vista.

As for Texas, we are between Austin and San Antonio

Alright, thank you!

So, in honor of hitting the "100 Day to Sail Away" mark, here is Deb T.’s "Top Ten" list of helpful things you can start doing now to prepare for our Fantasy cruise. ;)

10. Start serving all breakfasts and lunches "buffet" or "food station" style.

9. Every morning, make a 3-tone chime noise, then make the following announcement in your best British accent: "Ladies and Gentlemen, Girls and Boys, in 2 minutes time the forward door will open for all guests to disembark for today’s activities. The weather today is going to be (insert forecast) so be sure to take your (insert necessity, i.e. hat and sunglasses) when you debark the house. And remember, "all aboard" is at (insert curfew time). Have a magical day!”

8. Set your children's artwork out on display in the living room, add a row of folding chairs for everyone to sit on, serve a beverage, and then auction off each piece of artwork to the highest bidder.

7. Step outside and lean on a porch or deck railing, gaze wistfully out at your landscape, and comment on how amazing it is that the ocean is spread out before you for as far as you can see.

6. Start "checking" your children in and out of their playroom. If your children want to leave the playroom before you come to get them, tell them they must stand in the doorway and make beeper sounds until you arrive to get them.

5. Draw the DCL logo on tall plastic cups and drink your favorite beverages out of them.

4. Every Tuesday night, have everyone dress in full pirate gear for dinner. After dinner, dance around wildly while talking like a pirate. Arrrrrrrgh

3. Every night, perform a turn-down service for everyone. Place a tiny chocolate bar and a towel animal at the end of each bed and leave a schedule of the next day's activities.

2. Make your family line up outside the dining room to wait for dinner to begin. Before they are allowed to enter, make sure the table is set and their favorite drinks are poured and waiting for them. Give each family member a hand wipe to use before they enter. Oh, and have a 4-course dinner prepared and ready to serve.

And the number one thing to do to help your family prepare for your cruise:
1. Gather everyone in front of the TV each night for the evening “show” (a Disney movie, of course)!

Deb that top 10 was hilarious! :)

Tink did you just use the pic in our group page folder for your vista print? If not... Can you send me the pic u used I can do the rest... So u dont have to do it. :)
