Eastern Caribbean Fantasy Oct. 5, 2013

I just received the annual health bonus from my health insurance: $920 :cool1:
More spending money for the cruise :thumbsup2

Hello all!
I am excited to say that I will be cruising on the Fantasy on the 5th along with my parents! (Funny to see a kid on here right, hehe I'm the disney fanatic of the family) This will be our 6th disney cruise I believe. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in the teen club and celebrating my 18th birthday on board!! Wish I had found this link earlier so I could have gotten in on the FE action, but theres always the next cruise!

There actually a late comers FE on the group page that I will send you a invite to shortly.
You can connect with pontiuspython to find out more.
Take some time to read back on the posts. It will get you caught up on what is going on with the group.

I am interested in doing FE also? I will be glad to do anything to help set it up. What do you think about maybe setting up a Facebook group page

I just saw that Fantasy GTYs for the sailing before us were assigned two days ago, so you could possibly know by next Tuesday!!!!!!! :woohoo: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3056486&page=9

Here's pixiedust: hoping you get a great cabin! :goodvibes

Welcome to our group Brandon

The contract for the late comers FE is pontiuspython.
We have a group page (to which I will send you an invitation to shortly).
There is a table on the group page (under the database tab on the left hand side of the page) called 'late comers FE - group III. Once you get signed up and signed into the group page, you can fill in your info.
I would still recommend touching base with pontiuspython though.

As for the Facebook, there is someone who set one up for this group a while back. I am sorry, I can not recall off the top of my head who, but I am sure they will speak up and send you an invitation if you're interested. I am not sure how many people from this group are on their however. A majority of this group has been very outspoken about privacy and their desire to not have a Facebook page. But there were a few who showed interest a little over a month ago. So, one was started with others from outside this group as well.
Basically, long welcome short, there are several places to get plugged into our group, and still time to get to know everyone.
Oh yeah, there are several meet sign ups to check out on the group page as well.
Once again, welcome.

I there we already have a great fb page- lots of people have come across and joined us. The group is called disney fantasy eastern carribean oct 5th. It's a closed group so nobody other than group members can post or see imfo. Let me know if you cannot find it and I will try to direct you.

Oh I love booking the Gty room, it adds that extra excitement before the cruise waiting for our room number. The nice thing is every room is nice, but it would be nice if we got an upgrade. pixiedust:But either way we will be on the cruise!!!:cheer2:

We are excited to be Gold Members this cruise. So does anybody know, my husband said something about a special lunch when we board for gold members. Does anybody know about this?:wave2:

We are Gold Members, too - are there any special perks associated with that?

Saturday we intend to go Downtown to shop for a new evening gown for Anja. She'd like to have a new one for the formal night.
We're also considering to treat ourselves with something special for our 20th wedding anniversary, which is on Tuesday. On the internet we discovered that Omega has a collection of so-called 'Couple Watches'. We'll visit a jeweller's shop to see if those watches look as great in real as they look on the web ;)
There's only two stores in Downtown Frankfurt selling Omega watches.

Unfortunately, I believe your DH may be mistaken. :guilty: Maybe he is thinking of the Castaway Club Onboard Reception, usually on the first sea day, that is only for Gold and Platinum members? It's a Meet & Greet with the ship's officers. They pass around complimentary cocktails and sometimes have light hors d'oeuvres and Mickey-head Rice Krispie Treats. Here is the link to all the Castaway Club levels and perks: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/castaway-club/membership-benefits/ You'll need to log into the DCL site first, and then log into the CC site with your member number. :thumbsup2

By the way, here's a little bit of interesting trivia for those who are already in the Castaway Club and for those who will be members soon!
Your CC Member Number is basically your first-time as an onboard cruiser passenger number! In other words, if your CC Member Number is 123456789, then you were the 123,456,789th (first-time) passenger to sail on DCL! (I hope I'm explaining it so that it makes sense!) Each person who sails on DCL for the first time is assigned the next sequential number that started with Passenger #1 on the Magic's inaugural sailing. Since we sailed on one of the first Magic cruises, my number is only 4 digits long!!!!!!

How long is your number? pirate:

Congrats on your 20th Anniversary! :flower3: The "Couple Watches" sound interesting! DH and I will celebrate our 34th this month! Wowzers, that is a loooooong time! I really don't know how that can be possible since I don't even feel like I'm 34 years old! Everyone will tell you that I certainly don't act that old, either! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Here comes the promised photo of a typical flightplan for Maho Beach aka Crazy Plane Beach

As you can clearly see the interesting aircraft -say, big ones- are coming in after noon, the first on that day being the JetBlue-flight from JFK at 1221pm. Assuming it was on time ;)
So my recommendation would be to arrive there between 1230pm and 1pm. That would give us plenty of time to experience Orient or Gallon Bay, spend an hour watching the planes come in and then head on to Marigot.

Thanks, Deb.
We'll celebrate our anniversary on the first night of the cruise. On Tuesday next week we don't do anything special as we have to work the next day. We'll just go to a nice restaurant - hopefully wearing our new watches ;)
If we have time after shopping for Anja's new dress on Saturday morning, we may buy the watches then already - if they're on stock.
