Easter

This is really "planning ahead" but I was looking at the next two years worth of spring breaks and was wondering if anyone had any insight into crowds during Easter. The next two years we have the first full week of April off ... Easter falls on April 16th in 2006 and April 8th in 2007. Does it matter which year we go in terms of crown sizes and when Easter falls ????

I can only speak for my area of the country, but next year the schools in much of New England have spring break the week of Easter. We have it the third week of April, no matter when Easter falls. This applies to Mass, Maine, parts of Conn and I am not sure where else up here. I think it will be crowded, but we will be there anyway, what can we do, it is when the kids are out of school. A few years ago the holidays lined up this same way and it was busy, but we still had a great time.

I think spring break pretty much coincides with Easter so I doubt it would matter which year you go.

Never too early to start thinking of a disney vacation. It's been posted in the past week or two how crazy crowded it was this easter/spring break. For the first time in many years our spring break does not coincide with Easter. We are off April25th week, which is when we'll be in the world(can't wait ). Long Island is somewhat split with spring break this year. It will probably still be crowded with some places having break same week,but I think a little better since we will miss most of the college breaks and a lot of schools who don't have it so late(since plenty end the school year in May). We went for Easter three years ago. It was crowded but manageable. We all had a great time and the weather was beautiful!
