Easter Week

Hi All,

Its been about 10 years since we did Disney during Easter, so I don't remember. I know this is traditionally a blackout week, but does anyone remember ever a "public" discount during this week? We are actually on the Fantasy that week, and want to do 2 nights before at BC or GF (hoping not to pay rack rate).

Usually the black out days start Friday the week before Easter and end the Sunday after Easter. This year some pins went out for Easter night and on. If you are on the Fantasy the week before Easter you are in better shape for discounts before that trip, if it is the week including Easter it will be much less likely. Usually you can get into the Swan or Dolphin for a pretty good rate then.

Thanks so much!!! Unfortunately, there is no PU for the Cruise from the Swan or Dolphin. It is actually the week including Easter. Would that mean the thursday before Easter (Holy Thurs.) would possibly be a discounted day?

We always rent a car, so when we did WDW and the cruise we would have a one-way rental car, And get a one way rental back to the airport. Much cheaper then Disney transfers for our family of 4 and we could get there when we wanted. Does take a little more effort.

Maybe I will do that! The resort buses always get us to the terminal so late we miss lunch.

We usually go every Easter (except for this past year) and can usually find some pretty good deals. I highly suggest looking starting now. Sometimes, especially in the fall, the sales include the week of Easter. Hope this helps
