Easter week from Ohio $$??

My sister and I are thinking about a trip to WDW next April Easter week. OUr kids are both out of school the same week, which doesn't happen that often. She was trying to get some idea of airfare cost. Closest airport for them is Cleveland, but they might drive a bit to save a buck. Anyone travel last year easter week? How much did you pay? did you fly on the weekend, or slightly off days (like we for Pres week) to save money.
Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

If its Easter week, the prices will start high and go even higher! I would keep an eye out daily and when you find a price you are happy with ( keeping in mind Easter is prime time) book. I went a few Easters ago, bought tickets for almost 300 each in the July prior and the prices just keep getting higher!

If you don't mind driving try flying out of Akron Canton Airport (CAK). We have flown out of there the last 2 times we have flown. The first was with Delta and the second with airtran

My parents, who live north of Tampa, keep boasting about VERY cheap fares from Tampa to Cleveland. It may be cheaper to fly to Tampa and rent a car.

For our trip this past Easter (3/27) I started watching NWA and Spirit from Detroit 11-months before. Fares were very high. One Tuesday in September, Spirit went down to $225 and we grabbed it. We go every year at Easter, and this is the latest (Sept) and cheapest ($225) we have been able to book. Usually, fares are $290+ booked 10-months out. Tampa is also a lot cheaper to fly into.
I would suggest keep a watch during the week on whatever carriers you normally fly.

USA3000 is starting service from Cleveland to Orlando this fall.....we got ROUND TRIP tickets for around $140 each. Definitely worth looking into!!!
