More crowded than early June and Thanksgiving, less crowded than Christmas.

I was there last year starting the Wednesday before Easter until the day before & didn't think it was that bad. Not too bad of lines & not too long of wait for dining or buses.

It looks like according to this it will be even more crowded next week after Easter but next year the week before & after are both 11's. Thanks for this I'm trying to decide if the week before or after Easter would be less crowded next year.

All three of our local tv stations here have been reporting that Disney is expecting to be near capacity this Week leading up to Easter. Also read on another board that most onsite hotels are at 96% this week. I'm glad I'm not going for another two weeks. We know that there are still two more weeks of spring breaks with folks coming to Central Florida. I work on the East Coast & it's crazy busy here.

Interesting Dan. I've always thought that the week before Easter was a bit more crowded than the week after. I've done the week after before and it was manageable with RD, going again on Sat, hope it's still ok.

I just checked the rides times in MK and they are insane! 40min wait for teacups. 140min wait for SWMT. 125 for Splash. No thanks.

We just got back last Wed and it was the busiest I ever saw the parks. But those waits currently are so much worse than we encountered. Longest wait for Splash was 75. Longest for teacups was 10min. Thinking abou how many people were at the parks then, I can not fathom what it looks like this week.

The only place I would be during Easter Break is Universal in a deluxe with front of the line access.

Remember that it's 6 pm on a Monday and Easter break at this moment. You won't see those numbers tomorrow before 10 am.

We'll be there April 1-10. Planned our days expecting the worse! Our last trip was July 4th week and we found that manageable with planning, so at least this trip will be nicer weather!

Please let us know! :)

But they are like that all day long, maybe not an hour or so after opening but if the OP wants to look at that for next year she should watch the wait times all week to get an idea.

We were there 3/18 to 3/24 and it was or almost 90 every day. We normally go in Aug and it did not feel much different. I was very disappointed hoping for 70-80's. I hope you get better weather.

Here now. It is crazy crowded. Key be there at 6:30 am for EMH. We left at noon. Went to the studios. Of course no fast passes left there at noon.
My suggestion don't come these two weeks if you can help it.

With Easter in March next year I would expect both weeks to be pretty much equally crowded. When Easter is later, like it was last year, I think the week before tends to be more crowded.

I disagree. I'm leaving for Disney on Saturday, but I won't be in MK on Monday - that would be insane. I'll go to AK on Monday and MK on Tuesday. It will srill be crowded, but Tuesday won't be nearly as bad as Monday. So, when considering when you want to go, you should look at the wait times for the days you would visit, not the absolute worst period of the whole week (which would be MK at 6 pm on the Monday of Easter week...)
BTW... Splash right now (noon on the Tuesday of Easter week) is 70 minutes... Still a long wait, but 55 minutes shorter than what you saw yesterday at dinner time...

Yes, my kids go to a private school and their Spring Break is always in March and does not follow Easter. But next year it will be over Easter because of how early Easter is. Many privates and colleges do the same. I think it will be extremely crowded next year because of that.
