Ok, I booked an OKW 1 bedroom for the week of Easter. I also put myself on the waiting list for AKV. They did tell me, thought, that I was in the hospitatlity section of OKW and at AKV, we'd be in the lowest room (probably a parking lot view). So, I was wondering if we should just take ourselves off the wait list and keep the hospitality area. Any thoughts on this?
I will have a 2 year old at that time if it makes any difference.

IMO, the Hospitality House area of OKW is not better than any other and I wouldn't base my decision on being in that section of the resort. I'd go by which resort you most want to stay at. Would you rather be at a resort with a laid-back, vacation home type of feel with a Key West theme or one with a more hotel-like feel and an African theme?

Personally, I'd go with OKW simply because I don't think an AKV stay is worth it without a savannah view. The whole point of that resort, for me, is the view of the animals from my balcony. Also, OKW is so relaxing and it feels like you are a million miles from all of the "busy-ness" when you're really just a short bus ride away. The villas at OKW are also bigger than those at AKV, but I don't think that will matter much with such a young child. We have two teenagers and enjoy all the space we can get!

So my advice would be to go with the one that has the theming you prefer.
