Well, like I said, we don't normally. We were toying with idea of ALL of us having baskets this year. But we haven't done them since the youngest went off to college.Oh boy - am I the only parent to adult children that doesn't do baskets for them?
No, I only gift an Easter egg each. I actually prefer Easter to Christmas. I find it a much more relaxed celebration.Oh boy - am I the only parent to adult children that doesn't do baskets for them?

York bunny ! Like a mint chocolate one....cool my husband would like that too , we don’t have bunny shaped sweet tarts either.Food- I have not decided. I think Italian beef. I’m not having anyone over that day. I’m in the country and have enough tables and space outside to let families have their own space and bring their own food, but mom is 85 and I don’t wish to shout at her. Plus my sister is sick (covid negative).
DD is sheltering in place elsewhere, I sent most of her Easter stuff to her in March. Her TParrives tomorrow-there is none where she is, best present ever

My other daughter didn't want any candy so I got her a Shin Godzilla. Yeah, my girls are definitely unique ones
We were told by our governor that the Easter Bunny is an essential employee and doesn’t carry the virusWait... you are going to let the bunny in to hide eggs? What if he brings the 'rona with him? So many questions.
We'll do our typical easter morning stuff, make an egg bake (enough to serve 10.. our family of 4 will do fine with it), and then watch our easter service online (our church has gone to all video services for now). Then there will likely be ham (or perhaps corned beef, as that is my lovely wife's latest kick). We'll make the best of it, and enjoy a bit more time together as a family. Or perhaps we'll be at each others' throats by then? Its like Schrodinger's Easter.
Other than a cheesecake I plan on making, it's just another Sunday in my house
Oh boy - am I the only parent to adult children that doesn't do baskets for them?
Nope - I don't either. In fact we didn't make a big deal of an Easter basket for our kid even when he actually was a kid. There. I said it.Oh boy - am I the only parent to adult children that doesn't do baskets for them?

It isn't just Baptists.American Baptists have a different tradition. It's a call and response:
One: "Christ is risen!"
Everybody else: "He is risen, indeed!"
It isn't just Baptists.
Shush. Next thing you'll be telling them how we draw the secret fish symbol in the dirt...
