Easter Swan/Dolphin Govt Rate

Does anyone know if the Swan/Dolphin offers the Gov't Rate during Easter Week? If so, when is it usually available for booking?

We had the Govt. rate over easter break in 2001, but we went through Shades of Green to get it, and booked it at least 6 months in advance.

Got the same, but teacher's rate ($149 for Swan)for Chrsitmas- New Year's week last year so I would think it would be available on Easter.

Yes we got the rate this easter. I think we called about 3 months ahead, maybe less, I am not sure.

Thank you for the responses. The rate looks too good to pass up, especially compared to Peak Season Rates at the Disney Resorts. I guess I'll have to wait a while to see if this rate will be offered for Easter.

One more question. Can I book 2 rooms under the Gov't Rate even though I'm the only Gov't employee going? I would like to have connecting rooms for my family of 5.

I have booked up to 3 rooms with the govt. discount at the Swan and Dolphin. I have also had the govt. rate at Easter.

Does anyone know if Gov't rates are offered at any other resorts besides Swan/Dolphin? Also wondering if this is open to all gov't employees (dh is a state gov't employee) and not just military.

Swan/Dolphin rates are for all government..be it city, state or federal. My husband is a firefighter(city municipal employee) and he qualifies for the government rate.
I don't know of any other chain in the Disney area that offers this type of rate.
