Easter rates question

Does anyone remeber what the rates were during Easter week and if there were anykind of packages,discounts,codes,etc?If you were went last year and remember how many was in your party and which resort and cost please share with us.I know that last year Easter was in March and in 09 it will be in April,but I'd like to get some kind of idea staying at the POFQ .We have 2 rooms on hold now at rack rate waiting for the AAA rates to come out.I know that at holiday times it cost more and the parks are very busy,but sometimes you have to go when the kids are out of school.So,anyone with any help would be great.Thanks,

I was looking at this info earlier in my passporters from 07 and 08- it looks like from mid-feb till after easter is considered peak time! Yikes! I am planning a j an '09 visit and was thinking late-march early(pre-easter) april would be a nicer time as it's warmer etc- well I'm am not into paying peak rates! It would be like paying to be there for xmas and new years! Hope that helps!

Plan to pay Peak Season Holiday rates. There have not been any discounts during Easter week (before or after). Back in the olden days your could get a discount prior to Easter week and it would carry throughout your booked time, but no longer. With the day by day, even is you snag a discounted room the Sunday before Easter Sunday, it would end and you would jump back up to a non discounted night. So no way around it. Also, when planning for the peak season rates, don't forget to add in the extra for the higher meals (the newest increase of adding additional pricing to buffets/character meals during the busiest times). Because of these higher prices, we always wait until two weeks after Easter to visit, to avoid both some of the highest prices of the year and largest crowds of the year. Good luck!
