Will be @ WDW for Easter 2014. Thought of booking Cape May Café for dinner however couldn't do a reservation today. When I called, was told that Easter Sunday was totally blank for booking Cape May Café and when I tried on line booking only went up to April 12 2014. I am within my dining reservation booking window because I made reservations for the entire stay (10 days). I did make reservation @ Ohana for Easter dinner just in case. Any other suggestions? Don't particularly like fancy or character meal for that day.

How about Boma? Or even one of the restaurants at the Boardwalk area? Fun to walk around after dinner.:)

If you really want Cape May Cafe, call Disney dining reservations phone number and book it through them. Should be fine to do!

Are you also planning on visiting a park on Easter? B/c if you are, you can reserve one of the restaurants in one of the parks. We were in Disney this past Easter but spent the day at Animal Kingdom then dinner at Earl of Sandwich in DTD.. that was the 1st time we didn't have a real nice meal for Easter but it was so nice and relaxing for us- we really enjoyed a (very) simple meal!

I am wondering if cape may will have the same buffet or will it be slightly different for the easter holiday? We are also looking for ideas on were to book an adr for that day:)

Did call Disney Dining Reservations for Cape May Café, all blank, she said. She said either it was all booked or they haven't posted/opened it up to reservations yet. That was for Easter Dinner, the 20th. You can book a different day, like the day before, the 19th. But on line (when I tried) only went up to April 12, 2014. The lady at Disney Dining said at the buffets for Easter, they generally have a holiday menu and not their usual menus. It doesn't have to be a fancy meal for us, just a good meal..good food.

Yeah, that's weird... I just checked online we're there until the 21st and Cape May is blacked out for the 20th. I will tell you that we did have the same problems last Easter with places not being available right at 180 days but they did eventually open up within two weeks, so keep checking. We did make back up ressies in case they were closed for some private event or something, but what we wanted always opened up. I did notice that both restaurants at YC are available if you're interested in those as a back up......

I ate at Cape May twice on Easter and the only thing different was the characters were dressed up for Easter in the morning for breakfast. The menu did not change. Maybe a dessert added. If anything, Cape May is taking items away from the menu. I know the ribs are gone. Cape May will specialize each day for a different item, like more clams one day and different kinds of shrimp another, but that is it.
