Easter Day Resort activities

Has anyone ever been to the activities at the resort on Easter Sunday. I am wondering how busy it will be and if there will be major lines or if it will be relaxed since most people may be at the parks? Thanks!!

We've stayed at the BC for a few years during Easter. Usually they have a candy scatter on Easter morning around 9 a.m. They roped off a few different areas and spread candy and plastic eggs inside for the kids to gather up when the whistle blew to start. The roped off areas were separated by age groups to keep things fair. They'd also have some crafts set up in the same area, and the Easter Bunny usually made an appearance. I believe there would be Easter-type activities going on at the pool all day too. I don't remember long lines anywhere except maybe to see the Easter Bunny.

As a side note, we'd then go into Epcot for the day and traditionally it has always been a great park to be at on Easter Sunday. We don't find it to be crowded at all. They have a few fun areas set up for the kids where they can find plastic eggs with little trinkets inside.

Is it just me not able to find the info or they have cancelled all the Easter candy scramble at the resorts? I remember few years ago they had them at every deluxe resorts, we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge one year during Easter and my son had a great time collecting candy. But I just checked the posted activities sheet for this year there is no mention of it at all. I am planning next year's trip and wonder if we should go again during Easter or not.

If you have time, I also want to suggest to go to the GF for their Easter Egg display. They paint huge eggs with all Disney characters/scenes on them. They are amazing and a lot of fun to check out if you have time!
