Easter crowds this week

How bad were the crowds this week? I've always heard that Easter week was a crowded nightmare but I don't know if people were talking about this week before Easter or next week after Easter.Our spring break next year will be the week of Good Friday. Trying to decide if I should go that week or a week in April? I'm going to take off of school 3 days with a weekend. What do y'all think?

It will be packed, the week before and the week after Easter.

We went the week after Easter 3-4 years ago. I thought the crowds were not too bad. I recall from research then that the week before Easter Sunday tends to be a bit more crowded than the week after. I think it varies depending on the date of Easter too (later Easter = somewhat lower crowds than earlier Easter)

We were there last year the week before & it wasn't bad. We will be there easter this year.

Last year we went the Saturday before Easter. It was very crowded but seemed to thin out alot as it got later. They stayed open til midnight and by the time they closed there weren't that many people. Of course, we don't go to the parades we just ride so it was nice.

We are here now--- I would say 8 on a 1-10 scale--- MK was ridiculous !!! Epcot not that bad--- AK as crowed as we've seen it !

We are here now going on our 7th night. Easter crowds used to close MK due to full capacity, but I don't think that has happened the last 2 Easters since spring breaks are so spread out now. Disney even offered a deal during the normal easter blackout, which we gladly jumped on. We did think MK felt crowded the days we were there, but not unbearable. We went on lots of standby rides without much wait time. Just the normal peak afternoon hours....Main Street always seems congested....sometimes we were shoulder to shoulder with people but then other times it seemed very slow. The other 3 parks were fine for us, not overly crowded.

I have no input jn regards to crowds... But we leave on Friday (4/10) so technically the end of the easter week. We are planning on utilizing EMH evening in hopes of less crowds as most younger kids will be asleep maybe??

I've been watching wait times & last week didn't seem crazy. Today seemed liked the worst when comparing, which surprised me because I thought the week before would be worse.
