Just wanted to report back that I only saw 4 people wearing CROCS. Thought I would see a lot more, after all the buzz here! My daughter wore hers a couple times. She really likes them and wore them on days when she thought her feet might get wet.

Anyone else see CROCS at the World?

I saw Crocs at the World when I was there in December.
I am waiting on my order to get in, we got the Nile sandals. They sent us an e-mail about how much trouble they are having keeping up with demand, so we have no idea when our sandals will be in! Anyone else waiting for their Crocs?

I'm waiting on my second order of Crocs. I got that dreaded email--some part of your order is not available at this time--but hopefully they will get here soon. I love my red beach pair! I've worn them exclusively since I got them 3 weeks ago and my feet have not felt this good in years!! :cool1:

i ordered my niles on 3/17 and haven't received them yet nor have i received an email as to their status. we leave for wdw in 3 weeks, do you thing they will be here by then?? ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

i received half of my order, the pink beach style...still waiting on the highlands in black. I hope they get here before i leave!

Just an FYI for everyone who has gotten the e-mail about your order not being complete...it lists a number you can call to find out what's wrong with the order. CALL THE NUMBER! When I called I found out that they have changed the Croc sizing and thus my Red Medium Niles were NEVER going to come in because they aren't making them anymore. So, the man changed my order for me on the phone. I chaged to an actual size, size 8. When I asked about the Red he said they really didn't know when the red would be available in a size 8 or any size for that matter, seems to be the most popular color. So I changed to black. He said they had the black pair for me and they still had some blue mediums that my mom had ordered. He is shipping us a Blue Medium Nile and a Black size 8 Nile. However, he also said that orders are far behind schedule right now and he couldn't tell me when they would be delivered. He said we would get another e-mail updating us on the day the items ship.
So, my advice is to call the number in the e-mail and see what's going on with your Crocs!

Okay please help me what's a CROC. :confused3 (I know about the scaley ones that live in African rivers but I have a feeling that you're not talking about these!)

CROCS are a type of strange shoe. They look similar to a gardening clog. They are made of a foam-type resin. They are not the most attractive shoe in the world, but are very comfortable and people whose feet bother them seem to love these shoes. If you do a search on this site, you'll find some extremely LONG threads about them :)

You can also see them at www.crocs.com

Anyone know the difference between the Beach model and Cayman model? They look the same - I've been meaning to order a pair for my trip - better get busy if they're backordered!!

I may be wrong but I believe that the one has sizes of S,M,L and the other is sized 7, 8, 9 etc. I'm not sure which is which.

Okay, this sounds crazy, but last night I was driving past a Hallmark store and saw a display of Crocs and it was these shoes. I have seen the posts here on the boards but didnt read them and then came home and searched for it so I could see if that is what everyone was talking about. They were in the front of the store on a round rack, all sorts of colors. Enough to catch my eye as we drove past!

The Beaches are the S, M, L and the Cayman's are regular whole sizes. They are more expensive. I got a pair Thursday and love them. (doesn't everyone)

The Crocs website has a retailer search at the bottom of the page. I was afraid I might not get mine in time or that I might order the wrong size. It showed a store in B.R. about 60 miles away. I figured what the heck. Love 'em. You guys might want to try a search for your state in case the website can't get them to you in time.

I just got off the phone with CROCS and was told that the kids sizes were backordered til late may early june, and most of the backordered caymans would not be available till May. :confused3

Thanks everyone - looks like I'll go with the Caymans for the fit - and I have to try a pair of Niles - if they're as comfy as everyone says they look perfect for keeping your feet cool on a summer trip ! :smooth:

OK, I know a lot of people here swear by CROCS, but seriously, they have got to be one of the most unattractive shoes I've ever seen! :crazy2:
I keep looking at the website hoping they'll grow on me, but no luck so far.

No offense, but style aside...when you are walking in the park for "hours" on end with kids, you want to have comfortable shoes. Some of us, perhaps you "excluded" have had nightmares in the parks with our reg sandals or tennis shoes...these are a blessing to "us". If you are one of the fortunate ones to have been blessed with "perfect" feet then God bless you--otherwise, we don't really care what they look like if we are able to walk!! Some think they are hidious and others like me think they are "interesting" enough to strike up conversations with people you might never talk to. Come on--I wore those AWFUL Earth Shoes as a teenager in the 70's :crazy2: and the 80's OMGosh...Well, don't get me started! :rotfl2: Just try them on and you will understand. :goodvibes

After reading some of the questions here, just thought youall might like to know that Crocs saved my vacation...
Yep, I love them! I just got back from 9 days in wet/rainy/cold Wonderfull!Scotland. We were in Edinburgh the first 2 days, and the morning of the 3rd day it was pouring rain, and we had to go get the car to tour the country side, fine, but I slipped on 2 slick flyers on the cobblestone pavement, yes with the Crocs on, NOT their fault, the flyers were plastic coated... Any way, I kept walking, no choice, and the foot/leg was totally numb anyway... .
I can honestly say that I should have gone to the hospital. Didn't,cause I knew they would cast the foot... and no way was I going to do that...
The shoe did stretch to fit the swelling, and I will need a new pair, oh, darn! or several... after I get off the crutches and the air cast off..
But they really did make a difference, I did walk every day, lots, and even with the bum foot, they Crocs did great! I thought I had gotten them to big, thank goodness! If i had not had the Crocs there is no way I could have done any of the castles/museums stuff... I would have missed Loch Ness and the Castle Doune( Monthy Python/Holy Grail castle!), and all the historical stuff.
The doctor I went to yesterday LOVED the Crocs and I gave him the web site and local store info, he said they were the best thing I could have worn, if I had to keep walking...
So ugly or not, I am going to get more, as soon as the new sizing comes out! Any will let you all know how they work in WDW in May...
Oh, yea, the doc said he is sure the foot is not broken, but wants a radio/xray doc to re read them cause of the swelling/multi colors a week afterwards, I just ripped the mucles/and sprained it very badly , and of course a break would have been better... On the bright side I have very good meds for the pain and swelling, and we are blaming them for all the miss spelling/info in this post, and of course I will need new Crocs...many, many more....

I had a CROC spotting at EPCOT over spring break....I think it was Friday March 25th....walking to the World Showcase Gateway..... I see these hideous, but comfortable looking shoes (which I will be buying, hideious or not!) and yelled.... "Hey, are those CROCS?" and this lovely woman yelled back "Yes!" I asked her if they were comfy and she agreed they sure were!
Hubby says lots of folks at his hospital wear them, too...even....gasp....GUYS!
