Easter at Universal

Has anyone spent Easter week at Universal in recent years? I'm expecting massive crowds. Anything else I should look out for?

Wow, I guess no one has spent Easter weekend at Universal. Yay! We'll have the whole place to ourselves.

Lol! I don't think it will be that easy. We were there last Easter. Easter day itself wasn't to bad. Got a fun meet and great with EB from Hop. The Saturday before was super packed due to the Mardi Gras parade and concert but lots of fun. Just bring your patience and know that it will be crowded.

The Monday and Tuesday following Easter were more crowded then Easter day.

We arrive the Sunday after Easter weekend. I am expecting it to be pretty busy.

Yikes! I didn't remember Mardi Gras when I booked. That will complicate things a bit. Did you have Express Passes? If so, were the EP lines fast?

We've gone several times during Mardi Gras the last few years. You will be fine if you have express. Mardi Gras is fun! Have a great time.

We did not have EP, but managed by having a plan, getting there early and taking a break then coming back in the evening. WWoHP was crazy packed during the day but almost empty and magical at night. I think the Mardi Gras festivities went into early May last year. The parade floats and preformers were impressive, the beads and throws were not NOLA quality but it was lots of fun.
