We arrived at MK at 7:30 on Easter. It opened at 7 for EMH. The crowds were so light at that point that Main Street was pretty empty. We stayed at Mk until the afternoon parade was over. You could not even move anymore in Frontierland at that point. The only area that seemed fairly light was Adventureland. We were at WDW from Saturday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon and the crowds were not as bad as we thought they would be. As long as we got to a park to walk in during EMH, and got fast passes for the big ride first, we were fine. We rode all the major and many minor rides at all the parks using fast pass or single rider lines and our longest wait during the trip was 20 minutes for Dinosaur. Using the single rider strategy, we rode Expedition Everest three times at 3:00 on Monday afternoon with no more than a 10 minute wait.
As far as other Easter characters, we didn't see any accept a group of about 50 young women from Georgia that preceeded the parade in Easter gowns and hats.
We went to EPCOT in the afternoon on Easter and it seemed that they had an Easter egg hunt but we didn't know how the kids got involved with it because we were being evil moms who took a four day vaction for ourselves and left the kids with their dads.
