Easter at DL

We will be at DL on Easter with a 4yr old, so was wondering if anyone knew if they do anything special for Easter at the parks?

You can find a few merchandise items, they have easter treats in the bakeries & they used to have a buffet (but not sure if they have one this year or not)........they don't do any special events.

Be aware that it will be VERY busy on Easter........holidays tend to be super busy any way but you're also adding in all the people there for spring break.

I'm hoping that since Easter is later this year & at the end of the Spring Break season that it won't be as crowded as normal. The saving grace is that my husband is disabled so we can go in the fast lanes on rides & helps with the line time. We live with the disadvantages, so don't mind the few advantages it brings.

A lot of the schools base their spring breaks around the Easter holiday, so I don't think the crowds will be lighter........but wish you lots of luck!!

Yes, Oregon all my life. We have always lived in Central Oregon, except for a short time in Eugene.

I was at DL for Easter back in 1986, back then, they let the kids open a plastic Easter egg. Mine had a New Orleans Square pin in it...wonder what ever happened to that... I can't imagine that they do anything different now, I mean that was only 25 years ago!

We were there in 08 & they didn't have anything going on......I thought a egg hunt would have been fun!!

I've found this to be true early in the day and only in DL, not DCA. We were there last Sunday and ended up waiting about 15 min. for JRC. Which is about 14 more minutes than we usually wait for that ride.

Yeah they don't do much for easter, other than merchandise & treats.

I remember back in the 80's I got an egg with a certificate for orange juice at some place where Indiana Jones is now.

Pegleg, I swore you wrote my words exactly! We'll be down there for Easter (what was I thinking) for our first trip! Yet, I really don' t regret it now. It is our first trip so we won't know any different as far as crowds. I'm also in a wheelchair, but don't expect any "special treatments". I love the way you put it! I'll remember that Hope to see you down there with your crew - we'll likely roll into each other
