Do any of the resorts or parks do an easter-egg hunt or anything special for Easter Sunday??

The Deluxe Resorts have "Candy Scrambles" in the morning and characters are in attendance for the scrambles and for meet and greets.

There are characters available in all resorts to provide holiday atmosphere.

There is an Easter pre-parade in MK led by Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny and they are also available for meet and greets in MK.

Thank you, I hope they do the candy scramble a few different time through out the day, DH likes to sprint to the park as soon as the sun comes up:tigger:

A little off topic, though if you can't find a resort for easter eggs, I have heard that a epcot CM will give you easter eggs to hide on your own! A little work, but a little extra magic.pixiedust:

Last year they were doing a small egg hunt for the kids in Epcot, it was on the grass close to Ellen's energy adventures.

Last year DD10 did a giant Easter Egg hunt in Epcot. We had to buy a kit at a shop before we entered World Showcase. Then as we toured the countries we looked for a giant egg in each country. They were maybe 2 feet tall and were hidden in all different places like in the garden or on the roof. As we found them we put the corresponding sticker on the map. When we were done we showed the map to a cast member at the shop as you enter world showcase and we could choose a small character easter egg for a prize. DD loved it and can't wait to do it again this year.

We stayed at POR last year and we left on Easter day, and there were some Easter festivities going on at the resort. We saw kids carrying around huge bags of candy.

Wasn't that great !!!??? We had a ball! (And proudly have our winnings displayed (chip and dale eggs) in our break front! ) can't wait to do it again this year !!!

Are the crowds usually worst the week before or the week after Easter Sunday. With our new school vacation schedules, it does make the idea of an Easter or Thansksgiving trip tempting, but I detest crowds.

Thank You, that sounds perfect!

I would think Disney would be more crowded the week before Easter. Many public schools let out the week before Easter for Spring Break. We were there last year Easter Sunday thru that Thursday and it didn't seem that crowded.
