Easter 2008 who's going !!

Mom and I just booked today for our trip March 24-29! I'm just glad we got rooms on site-we're staying at Pop Century. We had been holding out for a discount code, but we had to settle for the AAA discount (which is still better than nothing!)

My brother will be marching with his HS band at the Magic Kingdom. My mom is so excited for the dining plan-she's never used it before (it's my third time using the DP, so I'm taking her to all my favorite restaurants!). I'm excited for her to see the flower and garden festival-I was there for it in 2006 and I absolutely loved it and I know she will too!

This is the closest I have ever booked to my departure date to Disney (I'm usually booking as early as possible, making ADR's at the 180 day mark, leaving myself PLENTY of time for planning). The last time I was there over Spring Break was in 2002-it's so crazy (I had always said I'd never go back during that time of year, but since my DBR is marching it's a good excuse to go and battle the crowds again). I'm still super excited, crowds and all, it's still Disney!!!

We'll be at the Polynesian 21-27. Tell me I'll be OK. I'm nervous about the crowds. We've done spring break but never around Easter. We have done Pres. week many times. How does it compare. (Try and be positive. )

We will be at POR 21-25. I"m nervous also! We plan on spending Easter Sunday at Hollywood Studios.

I think we will avoid the majority of the crowds,at least i am crossing fingers here.LOL

We are going the week of Easter (March 22-30). How is the weather during that time? Will we be able to swim (my kids get cold easy)?

Hello Everyone. This will be our 3rd year going Easter Week. The crowds are maangeable. Just plan, get to parks early, and enjoy the FLower and Garden Show at Epcot. It is great! We will be staying at All Star Sports - March 20-27.

This will be our 4th Easter at the mouse. Last year we came down for a
graduation in May so we miss Easter. The crowds are not that bad. We go to the extra hour at night anyway.

We will be there!!! Saturday night when we get to FL Im thinking of hitting MK, since its open till midnight, but dh says hes NOT!!! On his behalf, hes driving and very tired, so I may go with just the kids!!! Easter night we are going to the beach, then to Epcot about 4pm to do the showcase and see FIREWORKS!!!, then starting monday hitting parks daily till friday!

I'm flying down Sat. 22nd staying @ our apt. in Orlando. Can't wait to see the F&G Festival again but wondering just how crowded it will be. I've been there on spring breaks but never Easter week
