Hi there!

Newbie to the board. Can anyone tell me when the easter break runs for the kids in the US in April 2007. I know Easter Sunday is the 8th but I am having trouble finding when the break starts and ends. We are trying to avoid the park during Easter break. Any help would be appreciated.

seeing as I went during spring break this year:sad2: I can tell you that Disneyland starts getting spring breakers as early as the 2nd week in March and it goes through till the end of April... :confused3

There is no set time for Spring Break -- every school district around us picks their own week. That said, the busiest times are usually the week before and the week after Easter.

We usually go in the fall when the days are warm but the crowds are gone and loved that but a lot of things were closed for refurbishments. We decided to go in April because a lot of people told us it can be too cool for the kids to swim outside the first three months and we wanted to go when most things would be running. We plan on arriving on the 15th of April so hopefully some of the Easter crowds will be gone by then.

We went this year from March31-April4. That was pretty much the tail end of spring break. While it did get crowded mostly mid-day, it was definitely bearable and the crowds weren't bad.
Good luck-
Katie

Easter next year is on April 8th? That's my daughter's birthday. :)

Anyway, Easter break here completely depends on the state. Well even the school district for that matter. Here in southern AZ they go on spring break the week before Easter... so it should be March 31st-April 8th.

It appears their is no consistent date so I emailed the hotel and asked them. This is what Hojo said "Easter break in Southern California is the week before and the week after Easter (depending what school the children attend), however we do get a lot of out of state/country guests and there spring break is usually at the end of March. If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to let me know."
Gotta love Hojo they are always so helpful! :cool1:
