Easter 2005 - Which is less crowded...week before...or week after?

Thinking of an Easter 2005 (March) visit. I know both weeks are prime points at DVC....and advice on which week is the least crowded in the parks?

For the past two years we've gone the Wednesday after Easter and we've noticed the crowds start to thin out as the week progresses.

I do remember that 03 was not as crowded as 02 and someone on the boards attributed it to the late Easter of 03. Meaning some schools did not put their spring break over Easter week that year. It might be different in 04 and 05 as Easter is earilier in the year.

We're planning on going again in 05 ourselves so I'll be keen on listening to what happens this year.

One thing to keep in mind...a lot of northern schools seem to be going to a split break. I know our elementary school will only have Good Friday through the week after Easter off next year. They'll also have a seperate week off in Feb. If we're not alone, then the week before Easter could be less crowded.

we went to wdw a few years ago at easter time, actually we were there for 2 nights (thurs. -fri) before easter and it was soooo crowded, on sat we drove to marco island and spent the week there sat-sat. on that sat we drove back to wdw for a week and the parks were sooooo empty, we couldnt believe it, i would recommend going the sat after easter.

this year we have to go during easter, its our spring break and dd is in high school and its hard to pull them out for vacations.

at least we are going a few days before easter to vero and then on easter make our way to wdw for the rest of the week, we will wait until the end of the week to go to the parks.
