Hi Everyone!
I am sooo excited :cheer2: I am starting to plan my first Disney Cruise. What do you all suggest? The East or the West. What are the pros and cons to each? I also understand that Disney is offering a new 7 day Western that stops at their private beach twice!

Has anyone ever used "mousemadesimple"

thanks for all comments!

If you are not restricted as to when you can cruise... absolutely book a cruise with two stops at Castaway Cay. It is by far the best stop on the cruise. You will not be sorry!

Congratulations and welcome to the Boards. The double Castaway Cay stop replaces Key West on the Western. That is excellent. Eastern you have one more sea day, which we liked a lot. Get to explore the ship more and enjoy all it has to offer. Decisions, decisions, good luck.

Eastern has one more sea day (which we love) and an aditional adult programming series.

Castaway Cay is the best--if you can get 2 stops there, by all means go for it. We usually end up picking the cruise by the dates...but I generally like the Eastern better.

On Eastern, since one stop is US Virgin Islands, there is a mandatory Customs clearance--everyone has to get up early (well, early for my teenager) and go to the WD theater. It takes about 10 minutes and they serve juice, donuts, etc....but you do have to jump thru this hoop. It doesn't happen on the Western.

pirate: We did the Western & I can't wait to book another cruise. I don't care where we go, the ship is what I loved most  We agree that double Castaway Cay would be the best. You will be hooked too
