I would like to hear the good and bad points of the East and West 7 day cruise...I am itching to book another one!! I loved the 4 day so much I can't wait to go back!
since the western is a new itinerary, it will cost you more to go this route. both eastern and western are good itineraries. I however do like the western ports better.
I didn't know which 7 day to choose either and asked my TA. Since we live so close to the Mexican border and have a vacation home in Baja Calif., she said we would enjoy the Eastern much more. I'm sure both cruises are excellent.
We have done both the Eastern and the Western, and although we thoroughly enjoyed both, I prefer the Western because I like the ports better. It's just personal preference, but there is so much to do in Cozumel (I love both Xcaret and the Jeep Safari Tour and would do them again in a minute), and the stingray snorkeling in Grand Cayman was fantastic! Key West was fascinating...I didn't feel like we spent nearly enough time there, and I'm anxious to go back.
St. Maarten and St. Thomas were okay, but the Western ports are just more to my liking. However, I do enjoy the extra sea day on the Eastern. But for our trip next year, there is no hesitation...it's the Western again!
