Finally a decent price for those close to Maine Boarder / Bangor. Gosh, for holiday travel out of Bangor to Orlando it is only 79.00 one way based on round trip. There are a few blackout dates, but they can be worked around. Blackout dates are Dec 22, 23, 26, 30, 31 and Jan 1,2.......Must book by Dec 15th and complete travel by Jan 31st.

thanks for the heads up!!!

Under Delta website you'll see Hoiday special/ fares. Schroll down and you'll see Bangor. That is a good price. Where do you live in NS?

Cape Breton:)

We're flying out of Portland, Me, for this Christmas trip...managed to snag $99 fares on JetBlue, which I was pleased with..

But nice to see Delta giving folks an early Christmas present!

Thanks, Charleyann :goodvibes

Cape Breton! Beautiful country!

Enjoy your Christmas trip. I went earlier this year and am going to miss Disney at Christmas this year. We managed to both MNSSHP and the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the 13th of November....but it wasn't the same. The festive spirit wasn't there yet! LOL

Next year it is back to Christmas at Disney for me!

Just wondering if you have a passport? I imagine it will be hellish for people in NB once this passport thing takes effect - so close to Maine but having to get a passport to go across the border in late January.
We are flying out of Halifax to Orlando in February.
The best price I got was with Air Canada $464 return with all taxes, fees, included. I thought it was good price but it looks like Bangor offers better prices but the expense of driving to Bangor and return plus driving in the winter doesn't appeal to us. By the way, I am from Cape Breton originally too!!

The good thing is, if you are crossing over the boarder via car, then you don't need a passport for another year or so....can't remember the date.

Also, I know with Delta if you book as early as possible, the tickets are cheap and around 210.00. You must book lie 331 days prior to travel to get the cheaper rates.

My parents were both born and rasied in Cape Breton (Glace Bay) It is also sad that we must travel to the states to get the good rates. Gosyh, it is cheaper to fly to the states then fly in your own country.

Have a great vacation!

We booked our flights a couple days ago for August of next year.(soon to be "this year") We managed to get all three of us on Delta from Bangor for $800 CDN. I laughed whe I saw prices from Freddy Beach-1200pp!!!!!

Even in the last little bit the Delta flights for that time have gone up $100.
Learned my lesson-BOOK EARLY! :dance3:
