Easiest way to travel to DTD from Citywalk

Hi,
Does anyone know about how much it would cost to take a cab from citywalk to DTD? We are staying at Universal and on Sunday after the parks close we thought it would be fun to go to downtown Disney to do some shopping for the evening. I am thinking a cab is the easiest way but how exspensive would that be?? Any tips? Thanks!

We did this. It was pouring at 7PM just as we were planning to go to Citywalk for dinner, so we took a taxi to DTD - no rain - and ate at the T-Rex restaurant - my kids loved it, and we enjoyed it to. Waited about 45 min on a Thursday night - not too bad.

Any way, back to your question, My husband payed, so I will have to ask him and get back to you. Just wanted you to know that I do have the answer - just need to check. And getting a cab back was no problem - there is a taxi stand near Planet Hollywood

It would run approximately $30.00 or so.

How much should one tip for a ride like that? I don't take taxis much, if ever.
