Easiest way to get to MGM from Epcot?

We'll be staying at the Dolphin.

We want to take the bus over to MK and the monorail over to Epcot for a bit. Now how should we try to get to MGM to end our night with Fantasmic? Do we need to go back to MK and the buses run from MK to MGM? Or do I have to come back to the Dolphin and ferry over?

How would you do this?

From Epcot to MGM, there are a few options.

1) Go to the front of Epcot, and catch a bus to MGM.
2) Exit Epcot through the International Gateway entrance, and take a boat to MGM
3) Exit through IG, and walk to MGM (the walking path is behind the Boardwalk, so you'd need to walk there first)
4) The boat mentioned in #2 stops at the Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, and Yacht/Beach Club. Get on at Epcot, get off at any of the others (Boardwalk is the first stop), then follow the walking path mentioned in #3)

Just a note about walking....the path from Boardwalk to MGM is a lot longer than it looks...if you have kids or are not in the mood to burn an extra mile of shoeleather I would reccommend staying on the boat....it may take a little longer because of all the stops but it is a lot easier at the end of a long day of park hopping. Plus if you wanted to stop off at your room for anything the boat stops right at the Swan/Dolphin.

We stayed at the Boardwalk last week and loved using the boats. I was with my mom, so we used them instead of walking to Epcot. They were pretty prompt except for Sunday night around 7:00 after Fantasmic, the line was long and we had to wait for a second boat.

After all the walking we'll be doing during the day, the boats are definitely the way to go for us, especially with the kids.
