We are renting a car, and we have usually just stopped at the HESS Gas Station and gotten eggs, soda, milk, bread and snacks. We usually eat breakfast in the room, and then just get a few extra things to keep around in case we get the late night munchies or come back for lunch.

What do you guys use?

We use Publix. Most often, it's the one down the road from Queen of the Universe Shrine. However, in season we stop on Conway Rd., near the airport to buy fresh oranges and juice from Red Hill Groves, then we stop at a Publix in that area. It may be a bit out of the way, but we think they have the best OJ around!

Bobbiwoz -- Where is that Grove? We've gone to the juice place just up the road on 27 (north I believe) for fresh juice. I think there are 2 of them -- we go to the one just slightly further away -- it looks better!

We use the Publix by Orange Lake for shopping when driving and the Target by the airport when flying and renting a car.

If you just want groceries the easiest place is the Winn Dixie on Apopka Vineland Rd....it is just about a mile from DTD Marketplace...quick in and out, all the basics at decent prices.

I agree.

This is the web site. I'm sure they can give directions. It's very close to the airport.

It's quite easy to get to. Take the North Exit (SR436) out of the Airport. Follow SR436 for about 2 miles and then take a left on to Hoffner Ave (SR15). Follow Hoffner to the first traffic light which is Conway Rd. Turn right on to Conway and Redhill Groves will be up a ways on the right.

Thanks, and there's a Publix right on the corner of Hoffner (that's the name I forget, I recognize it) and Conway. There's a Winn Dixie diagonally across from it for the people who prefer Winn Dixie.

They are getting ready to start construction of a Super Target on SR436 (North Exit) about a 1 to 1 1/2 miles north of the airport.

There is a wal-mart about 4 miles from SSR. The prices are the same as they are here at home. They also have a huge "Disney" section to buy t-shirts, etc... at much cheaper prices than the parks. We buy frozen pizzas, pop tarts, bottle water, and snacks. :thumbsup2

Where is this Walmart. We are staying at SSR in May. I found the one near Celebration but cannot find this one.

Thanks,

Take a right out of Hotel Plaza Blvd and keep going. It is on the right about 3 miles after you go under I4. It is past the turn to go back to the airport. I know there are other ways to get to that road SR535 I think but we always use Hotel Plaza Blvd as the starting point.

Wal-Mart Supercenter
3250 Vineland Road
Kissimmee, FL 34746

It is very easy to access. About 4 miles from SSR.

1 stop shopping at its finest!:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

This is our hang out too. There's also a Fedex Kinko in the same plaza so I dont need to go any further for anything.

That's about as far offsite as I want to be most of the time and we usually go late so it doesnt interfere with my Disney Day pixiedust:
