Easiest and toughest park with scooter

I I'm going to Disney in April with my scooter for the 1st time. What is the easiest and the hardest park to use my scooter in. I usually use my wheelchair when we go but really want to try my scooter.

Most will say AK is too bumpy with a scooter. The sidewalks are paved bricks and uneven terrain. In some places it can be difficult with a scooter in AK if you are by yourself. For example, the gorilla area has some doors you have to pass through and you bang your scooter against those doors to push them open. You do this while other people may be passing through these doors, too. I have had some kind souls hold the door open for me.

MK I think has more curbs in the park; so, this can be challenging; you need to find the wheelchair ramps to move through those areas. The castle area is the worse for this problem.

I like Epcot the best for a scooter and Hollywood Studios is okay.

You will definitely get different opinions, here.

All of it is manageable; you just need to be careful and aware.

I'd agree that EPCOT is probably the easiest to navigate with a scooter. I think Mk is the hardest - all those parades/dance things/castle shows clog up the walkways multiple times during the day. It was hard just to walk through the hub, or down Main Street, during a show or parade. The area by Peter Pan's Flight is a nightmare too. The show at the castle blocks the main entrance into Fantasyland as well.

Easiest are Epcot & Studios. You don't feel like you're bothering anyone there. The restrooms are set up for accepting ECVs, & you don't feel weird. They also have companion rest rooms.

Hardest terrain is Animal Kingdom. If your spinal cord is OK, you will be OK also.

MK is the most difficult. Sometimes I feel like the rest of the world would be very happy if they banned ECVs from MK completely. The tracks on Main Street are a challenge. There are hills & inclines everywhere. The stores have smaller aisles, making it difficult to get through to things. Entering MK is difficult. There is no parking lot at the park. Monorail, ferry, or resort buses are the only transportation means to the park.

On a strong positive note - I have never had to struggle to get a paper towel to dry my hands with in any Disney park restroom. People are so nice about this. They just hand you some.

MK was the one park where my father in law would never use an ECV.
Besides the obstacles other people mentioned (more curbs, trolley tracks and narrow spaces), he found it to be much more congested with people, especially children, who tended to dart out. Then, because many of the pathways are narrow compared to the number of people, he had little option of clear paths.

Epcot was the easiest for me. Wider spaces and flat areas. Animal Kingdom was the toughest. Bumpy, hills, bridges and tighter spaces.

Epcot is by far the easiest; Hollywood Studios is pretty easy too. Animal Kingdom does have the rough terrain, but that's not too terrible. The only issue I have there is once my scooter had a defective battery and Meir met an early death going over the bumps just before exiting the park - it didn't seem funny then, but my girlfriend didn't notice that my ECV had died literally instantly and kept on rolling. By the time I got her on the phone to tell her and get her help she had already gone through the park gates :D It is of course funny NOW and I mock her about it all the time.

MK for me is the worst because of what another poster has mentioned - everything is smaller. There tend to be more strollers and children packed in tiny areas as well. When we went in July there were CMs in Fantasyland directing traffic and that helped IMMENSELY. It is still however the only time I've come close to hitting someone (kid stepped literally out in front of me).
