Which ADRs are easiest to get pretty late in the game (about 20 days out)? Obviously, I would prefer them to be at tasty resturants. My family has no qualms about any type of food. Even my 8 year old will eat everything from Indian to Mexican to South African.

What's the easiest characted meal to aquire late?

The Garden Grill at Epcot might be a character meal to get late. I would call and ask which ones they have available...it's always different. Cinderella's Castle will be near impossible, other than that it's all up in the air.

I've been trying to get Garden Grill for weeks with no luck....I wouldn't call it an easy one at all.

I've always made my ADR's 90 days in advance so I don't know much about getting close to the date. It just seemed that when I went to make that reservation it was always more open than others.

Does it have to be a character meal or just a tasty restaraunt? I'm leaving in 29 days, and just (an hour ago) had my pick of times for breakfast at Boma, on a weekend. Last week I got a reservation for dinner at Sanaa, and while he typed 5pm-9pm into the system to search, mine's at 5:15, so I'm guessing there were a decent amount of tables available. Granted, I'm a party of 1, but to the best of my knowledge, it's usually harder to get those reservations. Kona Cafe, at least used to be, fairly easy to get if you're flexible with times.
In other words, try some that are at resorts. You probably can't get Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, or CRT at this point

Monarchs fan? You go to Fisher Cats or Wolves games too? I'm a season ticket holder to the Fisher Cats.

We didn't have any problem getting 1900 Park Fare for breakfast about 20 days out. Generally speaking, ADRs are much easier to make for lunch. Still lots of times available for lunch even a week in advance for lots of places that were booked for dinner long ago (Coral Reef, Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time, etc).

One random example: From the 4 or 5 times I've changed by Tokyo Dining reservation for 5/3, there seems to be plenty of availability for both lunch and dinner.

I would think that the resort eateries (not on the monorail line and not with characters) might be a tinge easier to get into (although Jiko and Boma seemed to be booked awhile ago).

Good luck and don't get too down on yourself - we were able to find lots of ressie's with only 3 weeks lead time - just have to be a little flexible and call back a few times to get openings.

I think your best bet is to figure out which park you will be in on each day. Call and see what is available for that park or a nearby resort. You may just be surprised. People cancel and change ADRs all the time, so you might luck out and find a few you really wanted.

Nah. I'm not a baseball fan, and prefer to watch Wildcats football. And to be honest, the last 4 years, I've been focused more on Wildcats hockey too:)

Ah my brother goes to UNH. I'm unfortunately a Black Bear fan. We're in a bit of a rut ever since the frozen four a few years back.

Try asking over on the Restaurant area of the forum - the folks over there really know their stuff when it comes to ADR's :goodvibes

My suggestions:
MK- The Plaza, Tony's
EP- Marakesh, Tokyo Dining
MGM- sorry, don't know any there, Sci-Fi is the only place we eat there and they book up pretty quick
AK- Yak & Yeti?

Supposedly, Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco is the easiest World Showcase restaurant to get an ADR at because so many people are afraid of Moroccan food. It is actually quite delicious!

I agree. One of my favorite places to eat. Only on the last day of my trip though...for obvious reasons...

That's what I was going to suggest. :thumbsup2

lunch is always your best bet. Especially if you want a character dinning. I've never had too much of a problem with Crystal Palace. Or if it's on the weekend, you could try the one at the swan/dolphin hotel. Or for breakfast you could try Cape May Cafe at the yatch club.

But a good secret, is to show up at any restuarant at 4pm exactly when they open for dinner. And you can get a table, because that's the only real time they allow for walk-ups. But if the reservation center has over booked, you'll be out of luck.

Same thing goes for BBB, they allow for like 300 reservations, and like 50 walk-ups per day. But it has happened that DRC has booked 400 reservations for it. And that keeps every one on thier toes.

My cousin is the associate AD at UNH! It's a sm... never mind:)

Although if it's memorial day weekend, yeah, tough luck on that. I don't have a calander in front of me to know when you're going.

I called for Planet Hollywood and asked for supper. They told me they didn't have anything. So I decided to try for lunch. They told me they had a 4:30 available! To me, that's more suppertime, but I guess it was in their lunchtime block. So that's something to consider when making a reservation...even if they say they're booked for dinner, see how late their lunchtime availabilty goes to.

Good luck & I hope you're able to get something fun!
