Earrings for sensitive ears?

Anyone know a good place to get these, especially "Disney" related ones. Stainless steel and silver even the high quality ones will not work for me as do most gold plated ones. They will be okay for awhile but eventually start irritating my ears. The only ones I have that don't are my titanium studs that I got them pierced with.

White gold is also out that is where my original allergy to most jewelry started. UGH!!

I need totally nickel free ones I suppose but I'm still scared to try them as stainless steel and silver are supposed to be so tightly bound but both do cause me issues even with only short exposure.

It looks to me that you coud be alergic to nickle. Me too. I could only wear 14k gold or more expensive jewelry untill I realized this. Now I make sure all my watches, earrings etc. say nickle free.

Simply Whispers are the ONLY earrings I have ever been able to wear without irritation. (It's been years though, because I have stopped wearing earrings altogether..not due to any irritation though). I can't even wear 14K gold earrings or necklaces as I get a terrible itchy rash when I do.

I second simply whispers--my dd9 had some major ear issues last summer and she even had to go on antibiotics to clear up the infection--but we were able to save her ear piercing with some stainless steel earrings from Simply Whispers.

I have sensitive/expensive ears also, the only thing I can wear now is gold.

I am allergic to nickel and gold of any number in my ears! UGH
fortunatly I can wear Sterling Silver... However, for my diamond studs and my other good earrings I have always had to buy these little plastic sleeves at Claires Boutique to put on them. They are about 3 dollars and there are several in the package. They slip right onto the earring post! I've been using them for over 20 years! They work WONDERFULLY! No problems since I discovered them! Before that as a kid it was a nightmare. I ended up with cellulitis because of the darn earring allergy!

Same thing for me too. I'm always tempted with the cute costume jewelry...but I know not to buy it for I will pay dearly if I should ever wear it.
