Earning my ears?

Hi there, just joined and a little confused. How does one actually earn their ears and what does this mean? And where can I go for answers to questions like this one?

i beleive its just a tag by how many post you have i believe u move out of earning your ears after 100 post, not its 75 this was my 75th post and it now says Mouseketeer! :whee:

Actually, the term "earning my ears" is what they use for new CMs. New CMs will usually have a ribbon just below their name tag if they're new and it says "Earning My Ears". I still have mine from when I did the College Program.

me too! This is a great board. It won't be too difficult to earn them.

If you know where all the other smilies are, go all the way to the bottom and there will be a link that says more. Click that and you will get more smilies. Also there is a website that has even more smilies then what you find on the DIS board.

If you want to change the words under your name you can click on User CP at the top left of the screen, go to Edit Profile and insert your own message.
