early PS at MK - taxi to TTC or CR

We have an 8:15 PS at Crystal Palace on a day when the MK opens at 9:00. I think we'll just take a taxi from CBR because I don't want to worry about a bus showing up early enough or not.
My question is will it be quicker to have the taxi take us to the Contemporary and then just walk over to the MK or should we get dropped off at the TTC and monorail over? Thanks in advance!!

I would guess it would be better to go to the Contemporary, so you don't have to wade through crowds of day guests who are not permitted on the resort monorail.\ and for whom the express monorail hasn't started running.

Has anyone had any experience about PS's being honored late because the bus got you there late or the first bus was too full? I think it is ridiculous to have to rely on taxis for normal WDW activities.

Buses start running to the MK at 7:00am, daily. Even on non-early entry days.
