Early Plaza ADR Question

I have a question for anyone that has had an early ADR in the last few weeks since ROTR has been open. We have an 8:10am Plaza ADR for an 8am park opening. It used to be that you could use a side entrance to get in without standing in the long lines but, now that it looks like they open lines 7:30am (or earlier) now is it even beneficial anymore? If so, how early with the above specifics do you think they will let us in the "side" early ADR entrance? thank you!

My experience has been that since they open the gates either right at MM or up to half an hour before regular park opening for people to enter and wait at rope drop, that other than getting a pin, that line does nothing outside of maybe a shorter line to wait in. If you have an 8:10 for an 8:00 opening you don’t really need to get let in earlier, right?

normally they would still let you in a bit early but again with rotc changing things I’m guessing it’s not much of an advantage....

I’ve been in that line 4 times and we were never let in early. People in the line all expected to be let in early too and they said NOPE! So I don’t think it’s common unless it’s changed in the last year or so?
