Early part of May Park Hours

Is faith, that five letter word that you can't see....but yet you want to believe in??? :confused:
 
Is there a good chance that there will be fireworks on the 3rd?
 
May 3 is a grad night, right? I'm under the impression they don't normally do fireworks on a grad night.
 

I think our only hope for fireworks will be Sunday the 4th. I was thinking the 3rd was Sunday, but the 4th is. They won't have fireworks on a grad night I'm sure.
 
I still cannot believe that May hours have not been posted as of yet on the WDW site. What are they waiting for - June?

Its kind of Pi$$ing me off. I think its kind of crazy that we have to call to find out the hours (which may change), and not a toll free call, just to plan our trips! I'm feeling a bit nickeled and dimed. Disney has no problem charging top dollar, but it appears the park hours/fireworks stink - and its not value season either!

Sorry just needed to vent!

I totally agree. If they are going to drop special events during that week, they should drop our rates an additional $10/night or more.
 
Bravo gonga, you have said it exactly right!! I agree 100%. If Disney wants to take away our magic then I feel they should take away some of this cost too. Put late April and May in the value rate season.
 
To make matters worse....I have been calling GF concierge planning (again not a toll free call) to no avail....no one answers, a recording comes on, I have tried 5X today. Since I have a number of ps arranged around the Fireworks that will not be happening, I need to change a lot of things. Good thing I paid the extra $$ for the GF Concierge planning, They sure are great - NOT.

This is not the first time I have called GF planning either. It seems the recording is on more than not - I always have a difficult time getting thru.

Also another hint for people planning your trips thru WDWTC. If you have any kind of special requests, and are told it is noted in the system.....call back in a few days and make sure it is there. For example: I was told that I had GF RPC Concierce Deluxe, which I wanted. I paid in full for the trip. When I called GF Conc I just happened to asked her to confirm my reservations - I did not have deluxe, I had to have a 3 way conversation with concierge and the TC. My reservation was incorrect, and I had to whip out my credit card and pay an additional $113.00 for the deluxe upgrade. I also had to make several other phone calls/faxes regarding other things that they did not get right. So even though you may get it in writing, call and verify...apparently what you see is not what you get.

Being a travel agent, I have found working with the CM's at Disney TC is hit or miss. If you are lucky enough to get someone that knows, you are in........If you get a real dope, it can really screw up your reservations. The scary thing is, when you make your reservations, you don't know that you had the dope until you call back a few days later to verify.

Just a word to the wise......always take name and write down the time and date you spoke to that person, and VERIFY VERIFY VERIFY!

I don't know the official email for Disney, but what I did was go to this page Contact Disney and sent a email from here. That was last night and I have not recieved a reply yet.

I'm not even sure where this email was sent. The "prerecorded" reply I got back immediatly after I sent the email was this;

Thanks Wisconsinmousermom. I just emailed my feelings on the subject. If they keep cutting things, Universals- front of the line access, is looking better and better.
 
I chose the 1st one. Who knows if it will help, but if enough people do it...
 
I just sent my feelings to them too. Nicely of course. Thanks for the link and address wisconsinmousermom. Hopefully polkadotminnie is right. Maybe if enough of us write they'll get the idea.

I also e-mailed them and told them of our disappointment (very nicely also); I also told them that perhaps they should check out the posts on this forum and other related Disney sites as many patrons are not happy at all. Hopefully, this may help our cause:)
