Early park entry on check-in day?

Arriving at the Disneyland hotel rather early on my check-in day. I know check-in isn't until 3pm, but I was hoping to drop my bags off at the front desk and go to the parks. Will I be able to enter for the early entry before fully checking in to the Disneyland Hotel?

Yes, you will. You will be able to check in to the hotel when you arrive. DLH will hold your bags; give you a room key card that isn't activated to get in for early entry and they will text you when your room is ready.

Yes, you will actually be fully checked in to the hotel, just won't have your room assignment yet. I usually get there a little before 6 for a 7am early entry, check in and head to the park. The magic morning is the best perk of staying there, and I don't want to miss a minute of it!!

That's great, I was planning on getting there around 7am for an 8am entry, so that should work perfectly for me. Thanks!!
