Early October Dining booking issues?

It's rare for any DL restaurant to book up completely sooner than 48 in advance (that includes character meals). So, I wouldn't really be worried at this point.

But it's best to book early for the time you want and for packages.

I still can't get any of the reservations I want either...frustrating.

Me either! Plaza Inn is still showing no options for character breakfast reservations after 10/3. I guess I have to wait a few more days. Frustrating!

I already have been impatiently waiting for our booking window and now this..

I'm still in line (so to speak) for BB Fantasmic! reservations.

Oh well......

I'm hoping the delay has to do with additional scheduling through the week.
This time of year, traditionally weekends are the only time for Fantasmic and fireworks.
So maybe Disney is adding to the week days.......

I'm hoping that is the case. We won't be attending on the weekend (well, leaving on Saturday mid-day), and since Friday is MHP, no Fantasmic then. Would be nice if had additional show on Tue or Thursday.

I need to change my WCT reservations to WOC lunch and can't do it. Can't do the BBB for the kids. Can't do the Minnie's breakfast. Can't do our RBT F! dinner...

This is getting silly. They KNOW what the hours will be. This isn't some fly-by-night operation... or as we'd say in the Army, a "mickey mouse operation"... but I guess it IS that... ;)

I don't get why they are still having issues. I really thought it would be ok by now. I'm a planner…do they know this is torture?

And the "Torture" continues...

I just spoke with a CM at Disney Dining.
She told me they aren't going to get the schedule for October 2015 special bookings until the end of August.

Ugggggghhhh!!! So what's considered a "special booking"? WOC packages? F! packages? Character dining?

Do they? I haven't seen October hours posted yet.

Just speculation, but I bet management has a good idea of hours and entertainment for October, but they are checking and re-checking for any flaws in their plans. It is much easier to delay any announcement than to make a mistake and back track. Just imagine you get all your reservations in place then Disney has to cancel everything because they overlooked a scheduling conflict...that would be a much bigger bummer than waiting a few extra weeks to plan...This is just my opinion though

Not sure if any of you have visited the DL website over yesterday or today but the Parks Hours calendar is now completely empty! It previously had hours listed all the way up to September 26. So yeah something funky is definitely going on while they try to figure out park hours for the fall.

I'm going September 29-October 2 and it's definitely frustrating not having everything available yet! :worried:

Very frustrating! We are going similar time frame (September 28-October 3). Have made reservations at Plaza Inn for morning of the 10/2 at 9:10am (earliest could do - though says breakfast starts at 8:10am). So I assume park would be opening by 8 or 9. Earliest could make breakfast reservations at Carnation Cafe on 9/29 is at 10:10am, so perhaps the park doesn't open till 10am (says breakfast hours start at 10am)? But last year on the Tuesday it opened at 8am, with MM at 7am, so who knows.... :worried:

We were able to book Plaza Inn for the morning of the 29th and the earliest booking they had available was 8:10am (which is still showing on the DL site as of right now), indicating a 9:00am opening, so it seems a little strange that Carnation wouldn't have anything until 10:10!

I just called. Just to look what they will tell me. She said the same as we already heard. Don´t know park hours yet so we can´t make reservations. She also said they should open up mid to late august! So they shifted a little. Curious how this works out.

I'm so confused. I'm sure they normally have booking available this early out. I know schedules are released 6 weeks out but this seems late for meals.

I'm wondering if they are looking at increased hours etc but are working through staff rosters?
