Early October Dining booking issues?

Just called a moment ago for WOC package.....she said the dining reservation times still haven't been released for anything beyond Oct.3 because they are waiting on WOC showtimes to be released from the powers that be.

Thank you for that. Wish they'd get a move on but at least now it makes sense for most of it. Xx

I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues. I was able to make ADRs for Goofy's Kitchen (for dinner), Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, and Napa ROse. But Minnie and Friends at the Plaza Inn is has not been open for 3 days, and PCH Grill is only open for dinner (and therefore not for Surfs Up). I figured I'd call tomorrow to see if I could do an ADR by phone instead.

I called yesterday and they couldn't help me out either for our reservations on the 4th, 5th or 8th at DLR. She said MAYBE the end of this week but she wasn't sure. I was able to get our dinner at PPH Grill and Steakhouse, breakfast at Ariel's and lunch at WCT for WOC though. I wasn't even able to get reservations for BBB on the 5th! I was quite surprised.

I spoke to a cast member this morning, and she reported that the website is not allowing breakfast reservations for early October, because they haven't decided on the park hours yet. She couldn't say for sure, but she said she thought that they would be worked out by next week. She also said that cast members at 714-781-DINE had the same access to reservations as we do online, so to just keep checking the website. Seobaina, that says to me that a phone call from the UK is NOT the way to go. I was on hold for about 5-10 minutes before I spoke with a person, and then she told me that she could not do anything different than what I could do online.

For those making a call for dining reservation, I have found if I call RIGHT at 7am Pacific Time, if there is a hold time it's minimal.

I call (714) 781-3463 (don't wait to listen to all the options) PRESS 4 and it takes you to Disney Dining.

I called today too about 10am PT. Was on hold for about 7 minutes and was told the exact same thing. No need to call. As soon as the dates are available online, is the same time they are available by phone. He said they were told mid-August

I called today, as Carthay Circle and Wine Country Trattoria were showing open for lunch only for all dates after October 5. The cast member told me that "the inventory hasn't been loaded yet" - and confirmed that I would see it available online once it was ready. Sounded official. I guess if no one is beating me to the reservations, all is well. It could be very well tied into World of Color, as both of those restaurants offer WOC packages. We are going just for regular dinner that night, but it makes sense that they don't overbook if the times for WOC aren't yet confirmed.

This makes the best sense to me. I was able to make dinner reservations at other locations for similar dates in October, so it's not every location. Now we just wait.

Been away for a few days. I should have come back and posted, but I got in (online) on August 4th for a 0910 Breakfast with Minnie and Friends. Not sure if this is still relevant information at this point.

Looks like lots of dining options still aren't open yet for October. I was able to get a dinner at Storyteller's Cafe booked for October 11. But PCH Grill isn't showing any breakfast availability (and therefore no Surf's Up Breakfast) in October yet. I've got reservations to make for October 12 tomorrow, but I'm betting that I won't be able to make most of them (if any), since they're all "special" in some way - character dining or a dinner/show package.

I called the other night (8/10) and was able to setup a reservation at 9:10am on Oct 1st at the Plaza Inn. It shows up under my current reservations (along w/ Wine Country w/ WOC on 9/30 and Blue Bayou for lunch on the 10/1, after POC has opened back up ).

I called twice this morning and after 5-10 minutes on hold got disconnected BOTH TIMES as it was starting to ring through to a CM. Very frustrating! Guess I'll try again tomorrow? Everything after Oct. 3 is still not showing up online. Has anyone had luck on the phone with dates after Oct.3 yet??

Calling won't help. Check my post from Monday - anything the CM's see will be the same as what we see online. Until DL decides on the park hours for October, breakfasts will be unavailable. Same for dinners at restaurants with special packages.
