Early November - anything in refurbishment?

Do any of you regulars know if early November is a good time to go? When will the overlays be done for IASW? They will likely leave Ghost Galaxy up until after Christmas right? Or no? Park hours? Will Fantasmic be running or only on weekends? What about Fireworks? When do the holidays take over the park in full swing? Thanks!

Nothing besides WOC will run on weeknights. Fireworks & Fantasmic on weekends. Hours will be shorter because it's a slow time. IASW will be down because the overlay won't be done. Holidays seem to hit in Mid-Nov, maybe a week earlier... Watch out for Dapper Day, that Sunday is super busy (but fun- Google it up if interested).

Ghost Galaxy usually goes down right after Halloween. This year, with Halloween being a Tuesday, there is a chance that SMGG will go down on Wednesday and then re-open in time for the weekend. The remove tends to be pretty quick, unless they tie in another refurbishment or something else. Haunted Mansion Holiday remains open through the holiday season and should not be down in early November (other than for unexpected issues).

Depending on how early you're going, there is a chance that both IaSW and Jungle Cruise will be down getting their holiday overlays installed. Last year (2016), both were closed until the start of the Holiday season. This year, the holiday season is slated to start on Friday, November 10, so there is a chance that they'll be down through November 9. The vast majority of the holiday decor and offerings should be ready for the start of the Holiday Season, but there is a chance some things (like the show piece in the GCH) may not be ready.

Last year, fireworks were only on the weekends prior to the start of the Holiday season and then were nightly thereafter. F! wasn't presented in 2016, but in 2014 it was only presented on weekends (Fri-Sun) except during Thanksgiving week and then nearer to Christmas. Being a new show and very popular (at this point), it's hard to say whether they'll add F! showings to the weekdays once the holiday season starts, but it seems like weekends only are the best bet at this point.

We were there last year from Nov 2nd - 5th. The only rides I recall being down were IASW and Jungle Cruise for the holiday layovers. Space Mountain had the Star Wars theme up during this time too. I don't recall if it had been Ghost Galaxy through Halloween last year or not and then it had changed back by the 2nd. But it was the Star Wars theme during our visit. It was fun each morning because there was always a new addition for the holidays to check out after they worked overnight.

I'm zero help with the parades and shows. Due to the crowds, wait times and rude people we always encounter, we have avoided both for many years now. No biggie, because we enjoy the shorter ride times!
