Early mornings with current closures?

Could someone please tell me the best touring plans at each park for EA with all the ride closures going on the first week in March?

P.s. We won't need to do the Anna or Elsa meet and greet.

Thanks!

There should be no problem in Disneyland with early admission attractions. Peter Pan refurb will incite folks to acting civil again so take rare photos of folks walking around the castle as opposed to UPS shuffling or running. Matterhorn, who does ride that first thing in the morning???

With peter pan down does that make Dumbo first? I have heard Dumbo is not always ready to go at park open and should always be your second ride... thoughts?

Well, at least you will be in a short line for the most popular ride after peter pan wait line. If you have to wait 15 mins for dumbo, then that is equal to Pan time, so no loss of morning. If you don't want to invest in Dumbo then on to Snow white and her wooden neighbor. then that time is wasted because of lack of investment in longer line rides. Choose the longest line and initially invest the time.

I have this exact same question!
We are going to be in DL on Thursday 2/19 (using early entry as hotel guests)...

Normally PP is our first ride...with Matterhorn 3rd of so....
(We're not interested in meeting A & E...)

1) What should be our new strategy now??

2) Is Pixie Hollow open during Early Entry?

3) Should we jump in the Nemo line right before the park opens for everyone else (before the line grows?)

4) Where would Story Book Canal boats fit in to this??

I feel so lost...my whole normal morning line up is all messed up! ahhhhh!!

tia!!! :-)

We just got back from DLR yesterday, and took full advantage of EA at DCA on Friday. The park opened at 7 am, but RSR was down so we did Rocking Roller Coaster with no wait, and could have gone a bunch more times, but TSMM beckoned. We rode it 3 times in a row with no line, By then it was a little after 8 am, so headed back to RSR. It was still down, but noticed a whole bunch of people were in the standby line, so it looks like it was up for a while. I was willing to wait to 830, and when it opened up we headed down the single rider line, and pretty much got right on. After 3 rides with virtually no wait, the last ride we had a 10 minute or so wait and decided that was enough. Headed over to Disneyland and finished out our day with a few rides before we had to pack up and head to the airport by 1230.

Did Disney land change the EA rules and you can now go to dca? Or did you guys stay onsite?

I would think Dumbo should be #1 with Alice

1) I would think Dumbo should be #1 with Alice being #2. Then do whatever you can in Fantasyland. When the park opens do Casey Jr.
2) Do not think so
3) I would recommend waiting to do the subs at night and use that time to check out Toontown or the Westside (Adventureland, New Orleans Square, and Frontierland)
4) Do Storybookland at night when there is nothing else to do.

Subs, Storybook, and Small World are huge time wasters. Better to do two other attractions instead of one.

We were there for MM on 2/12 and went directly to Dumbo. It wasn't ready! We did Mr.Toad's then when we were done Dumbo was ready with maybe 12 people in line.

I agree on that. The one time we got in line for the Canals during early entry it took most of the entire hour just to ride. And the line wasn't long. They were only operating one boat. We would have to wait for it to go all the way around and come back before anyone else could reload.

That one vehicle per attraction thing sort of happens with the Matterhorn as well (one side). You usually have to wait for the park to be open for a 1/2 - 1 hour after for some of the attractions to be running at full strength

.... which stinks because the times we have gone by then the line is 45 minutes long.

The line for certain attractions may even get shorter when they create more capacity.
For example, Matterhorn may be a 15 minute wait when the park opens since only one side is open, but turn into a 5 minute wait a half hour later because they open both sides.

You must have had much greater luck with the Matterhorn than us. 45 minutes into EE I have always encountered at least a 45 minute line.

A 45 minute line would wrap around the mountain, I've never seen that at park opening. Even Space Mountain doesn't get that long that quick. Maybe on NYE.

It did wrap around the mountain. Right up to the sign that said it was a 45 minute wait from that point. It was on a weekday during the second week of this past December. Same experience the same week last year. I was very happy to remember at that point that it had a single rider line.

I would guess that there might have been another major attraction was down.
For example, when Indy breaks down Jungle Cruise and Pirates have longer waits.

It was early entry. The other side of the park wasn't open yet.
