Ok, so i look at the poll on the homepage this morning... Umm guys, Epcot and the studios are non-magic kingdom parks too. Perhaps vmk isnt that familiar with disney parks?

Then I started thinking about these masks today. Wouldnt it have been much easier to put the masks in as a face option? I mean ok people who didnt ride today would still be able to have masks, actually everyone would...BUT by doing it that way, where you could change your face to one with a mask, it would allow you to wear a mask AND a hat, not choose one or the other. Personally, i'd like to wear a mask and a hat, but since the masks will more than likely be a hat option, that just su......stinks.

I hear you, Mike! I was hoping to wear the mask and the musketeer hat for the Zorro look. (I knew there was a reason I kept that hat), but I'm not sure it would work.

then there is the mask with the Cowboy hat for the Lone Ranger look. If we turned green and used the backward green hat with the mask, would that be the green hornet look?

Ah the possibilities. We will just have to wait and see if any of them can come to fruition.

oh and one more rant, put the darn superhero shoes back for sale in the emporium. I understand the green suit going away. but lets just say that some of my "extra people" that i just made in the park did not get green suits or boots, and now they have purple and no shoes and look somewhat silly. But hey, you can still be a superhero with flips right?

I was wondering about that poll too. I think what they did was take one other park from WDW and focus on the more European ones throughout the world to be fair.

Well, they have listed Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Tokyo Disney Sea and Hong Kong DL, which the first two are American and the last two are Asian. They do not have the European park which is Disneyland Paris.
*edit* Or maybe you're sying European Style parks? Because I think the Asian ones are modeled a little more after DLP.

But I agree. HKDL is basically a Magic Kingdom park. If they really only had to five 4 choices and they wanted to use parks from around the world, they could have used Walt Disney Studios Park (in DL Paris) instead of HKDL.
But I guess the Asian parks are little closer to California's timezone. So maybe they think that more Asian than European people play VMK.


Anyways. I also agree about the masks. That should be a face choice. I'd like to wear mine with my HM suit and tophat. Then we could all attend a Masked Ball in one of the HM rooms in VMK.
There would be so many possiblities if that were the case. Maybe it's a suggestion we should all make.

These "polls" are really nothing more than advertising for Everest so far. The questions for all of them are really designed to have the most people pick that they want to take a trip to Animal Kingdom so that they bug their parents to bring them.

I keep trying to pick other options so that the vote isn't swayed so much, but I don't think my one vote really counts. I haven't seen a poll yet that had my first choice on the list. Maybe they really need an "other" choice, although that really isn't the information they're after.

The poll is just a way for VMK to provide Disney with the answer they need/want to hear. They get to show that all the Everest promotional stuff in the game worked and made us all want to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom. It isn't about what park we REALLY want to visit. It's about VMK justifying itself and securing a budget. At least that's my opinion!

Flips are a good choice for shoes. If you want to look more like the real thing you could buy black snow boots and they don't cost 1000 credits.

As for the masks, it stinks that they are a hat. The Lone Ranger look would be so cool. Instead I look like someone punched me in the eyes. Oh great, let's support the battered VMK character theme.

I am okay with this happening,because California Adventure is part of Disneyland Resort. But,I am confused about the thing "Non Magic Kingdom Parks." I mean,come on,Disneyland is NOT titled Magic Kingdom! And it makes me to see more people like WDW more then Disneyland!

Although it's not titled Magic Kingdom...Disneyland is probably considered one. I voted for California Adventure only for lack of options. I've never been to WDW or it's off-theme parks. And I'm sure they are better then DCA. Poor poor DCA.

i so thought at first it was a face option. I saw karo's pic and i was hmm maybe they made the mask a face option and nobody knew it. But i was wrong.
It would be an awesome idea though. Like all the people tonight who did the event, mask would turn into a face option. In the future if they sell them you buy the face. But then it would open a whole new buying option, of buying faces. Like maybe one with sunglasses and one with mickey glasses.

Though probably they can't have a selected few to have the face option..
