Early morning transportation to TTC

We are staying at POP and plan to go to Sea World by taking the 8:18 a.m. Lynx bus from the TTC. On the day that we are planning on going, MK and Epcot both open at 9:00 a.m. (AK is early entry that day). In order to make the 8:18 a.m. Lynx bus to Sea World, is our best bet to take one of the early morning character breakfast busses to the MK or Epcot and then take the monorail to the TTC? I don’t think that the regular busses to MK or Epcot will start running until 8:00 a.m. which won’t allow us enough time to make the 8:18 am Lynx bus.

Tyler said Disney has discontinued the character breakfast buses. Ask when you get to Disney. You might need to take a cab, rent a car or take a later bus.

Thanks for letting me know that the character breakfast busses have been discontinued. Is there a direct bus from AK to the TTC? Since AK has EMH that morning, perhaps we could take a bus from POP to AK and then take a bus from AK to the TTC.

I suggest you take a taxi to the TTC. All Disney resorts have taxis waiting outside their main entrance. It's fast and reasonable. It will make your life a lot easier that morning.

Taxi is the best alternative. Taking a later Lynx bus or even renting a car would be your next best choices. You could take a bus to AK and then a bus to the TTC but I think theme park buses start 45 min before park opening and that really isn't going to help you. If anything I'd expect transportation from an EMH park to a park that's just opening would start later rather than earlier.

Getting you to the TTC in order to catch a Lynx bus to SW realy isn't a good reason for Disney to make special transportation arrangements for you.

Thanks for everyone's input. It sounds like either taking a taxi or a later Lynx bus are our best alternatives. I certainly wouldn't expect any special transportation arrangements from Disney to help us get to Sea World . Another idea might be to change our Sea World day to a day when MK or Epcot have early entry. We could then take the bus to MK or Epcot and then take the monorail to the TTC, but even that might be pretty tight timewise if we are trying to catch the 8:18 a.m. Lynx bus. It looks like taking a taxi or a later Lynx bus are our best options. Thanks for everyone's opinions.

I suggest you take a taxi to the TTC. All Disney resorts have taxis waiting outside their main entrance. It's fast and reasonable. It will make your life a lot easier that morning.

If she's going to take a taxi to the TTC, it would be more efficient just to take the taxi directly to SeaWorld. The cost would be similar.

We're back and had no problems getting to SW on our originally planned day. We were able to catch a MK bus from POP around 7:00 a.m.. We took that to the MK and then the monorail to the TTC. We actually caught the 7:48 a.m. Lynx bus to SW instead of the 8:18 a.m bus. It was all very easy and worked perfectly.

What? I'm reading conflicting things... maybe I need to call Disney. Why would they book early PS for character meals and then discontinue the buses that get you there?!??? So if you book an early PS because that's all that is available when you call- you have to use a cab/taxi???

Tyler has posted that he is getting conflicting information about this. The first piece of information was that they were stopped (and he posted it), but as he asked more and more people, they gave him other answers. Since he is not wearing purple pants anymore, he his not positive; but it looks like, for now, the busses are still running early.
