Early Morning Transportation Question

We are staying onsite at CSR. I made a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's for 7:50am. Now, I know that bus service usually starts about an hour before the parks open, so that means that I need to drive to either TTC or CR. My question is this, does the monorail operate more than an hour before park opening to service the resorts, like CR that have character dining? Your advice is appreciate. TIA Maggie

The buses for the Character breakfast will be running early. Take the bus to the MK, ask the driver if he can let you off at the CR, if he can not go to the MK and then walk to the CR.
Other people have posted here that the walk from the bus stop at MK to the CR is about 5 minutes.
I would be at the bus stop at your resort at about 7:00, this should give you plenty of time to get to Chef Mickeys.

I did an early chef mickey's when I was there in Feb. Make sure you have your confirmation number for the meal because I had to show mine to the driver.

You can get a printout when you check in.

So, does this mean that we can catch a bus at 6:45am to go to Chef Mickey's? MK doesn't open until 9:00am.

If we wanted to arrange for a cab, does anyone have an suggestions on doing so? Any cab companies any better than any others? When should we call, the night before or the morning of?

Mickeysaver....all of the resorts will have cabs available...just ask the valet (at a deluxe) or the bellstand at a moderate or value to call one for you....they are usually lined up in the drive anyways.

You can also just ask at guest services the night before for the best transportation options to your early breakfast reservations....they will get you there!!

Just be out at the bus stop 45 mins prior to your seating time, and there WILL be a bus. Just let the driver know y'all are going to Chef Mickey's.

Cabs are always available on property. They are Checker Cabs, operated by Mears.
