Early morning tour

One week from today I will be arriving at the Fort! Quick question - we are doing the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour which starts at 8:15am. I don't want to arrive AT 8:15am as I am hoping for one of those rare empty Main Street USA photo ops so my goal was to arrive at the gate 7:45 - 8:00. MK does not open until 9:00 so I'm just wondering what time the boats start running and how long does it actually take to get to the MK? In other words, what time should I arrive at the marina? TIA!

IIRC, you can catch the Yellow bus since it goes to WL earlier than the boats start operating. At WL hop on the MK bus.

You can also take the early boat to the contemporary and walk over to the MK.

This^^^^. The boat starts about 6:45ish. A bus won't start until later.

We did the same tour last year. After arriving at the Fort, a CM suggested we drive to the Contemporary and park there, then walk to MK. We arrived early enough to check in and spend some time on an empty Main Street. There was no extra fee to park at the Contemporary.

Thanks for bringing up this question! We've got the same tour booked for 10/24, and don't have a car with us. We've got a preferred site, so taking the Contemp boat sounds like the way to go.
