We have decided to book the Early Morning Magic for MK on June 21. We are a group of 9 with two people in their 70's. We thought this morning would be a little easier on them rather than trying to do rope drop.

Can someone please help me with touring strategies?

We will have a second day at MK, although it won't be a full day. We will probably take a mid day break at the hotel due to the early morning. We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter.
I'm struggling with whether to stay in Fantasyland/Tomorrowland for the morning or heading over to Fronteirland to ride BTMRR before the crowds come. I also want to minimize walking due to the elderly people in our group.

Thoughts?

Keep in mind that EMM is only 3 rides in Fantasyland, not so sure how it is easier then RD since you will have to all walk up and get to park for 8am. Plus cost of EMM is on top of park ticket cost. I am thinking EMM is more appealing for families and kids looking to ride 7DM, PP and Pooh several times before regular crowds are let in one hour later. You can already use EMH, RD and FP to ride those early if need be. With a party that large, and two older folks, really think through highest priority for MK rides and how you can best manage those.

We definitely want to ride all these rides, that is one of the main reasons we decided to book this. We also don't have any breakfast reservations scheduled so we thought this would be good.

Now, I just need help figuring out the rest of the schedule.

Can you tell us more about your group and what they like to do? Small kids? Teens? Also, any rides the septuagenarians won't do? Are they content to follow along and wait, or do they want to do other things while the rest of the group rides?

4 parents 35-40
3 boys ages 5-10
2 grandparents who are content to do whatever, very laid back

The adults are coaster fans, kids will ride 7DMT and BTMRR, Barnstormer, maybe Splash Mtn.

Our motto is.. if the kids are happy, adults will be happy. :)

To make the most of the time, and based on the reports from people who have attended EMM, plan to knock out the three included rides and head to the breakfast by 8:30. Then you can do a few other things in FL that can be knocked out quickly, like the Little Mermaid ride, Dumbo and Barnstormer. I'll assume you're content to skip princess meets. After that, a couple of options:

1. Head to Tomorrowland and hit the things you prefer, maybe with FP booked for Space and/or Buzz, before lunch. Grandparents can wait or do the PeopleMover and/or Carrousel of Progress during any rides they skip.

2. Head to Frontierland to hit BTMR and Splash with short waits. The grandparents can take the train from Fantasyland to Frontierland and meet up with you there and head to Adventureland to hit Pirates and Jungle Cruise before the crowds build. Maybe book FPs for another ride each on Splash and BTMR after lunch.

Do lunch then hit another area of the park with attractions with shorter waits (or with any other FP booked), or take a break at the resort and return in the evening.

If it were me, I'd head to Frontierland, but I just like that part of the park.

I love @ChloesDaddy suggestions. Personally, id do option 2 and then do Tomorrowlad and whayever is still needed in fantasyland on a subsequent MK day.

Personally, we'd skip the EMM to save the money and do rope drop. Assuming rope drop at 9, make FP+ for 7DMT and PP for around 10 and 11 (and I'd make the 3rd FP+ for Space Mountain around 2pm). At rope drop, head to FrontierLand and do Splash and BTMRR, then Haunted Mansion. You should easily be able to knock these off before heading to FantasyLand. Do 7DMT as late as possible then head right over to PP, so you are grouping your FP+ times. Experience the "other" things in FantasyLand while waiting for and immediately after your FP+ times for 7DMT and PP. Have some lunch and head for TomorrowLand. Ride whatever you wish before your 2pm FP+ at Space, ride Space by around 2:15 (then get a 4th FP+ for in the later evening hours if you are planning on seeing Wishes). After riding Space, head over to Main St. for the 3pm parade, leaving the park after the parade for a break and supper. Go back to the park for the evening parade, Wishes, and that 4th FP+ if you are feeling up to it!

So, do you think if we do Rope drop and head to Frontierland instead of Fantasy land, our walk will be easier with the grandparents?

Currently, we were thinking of park hopping to either AK or to EP for dinner. We are going to do the nighttime stuff at MK on the next day, (Wednesday) and we have FP's scheduled for that already.

Everyone in our group is up for the EMM, despite the cost. I'm having a hard time making a decision.

It will be a longer walk to Frontierland, but they can catch the train at the Main Street station to either land and meet up with you there. The train may wait for a number of passengers before taking off at rope drop, but if you're doing rides they don't plan to do first they won't be missing out on anything.

Great advice. This is exactly how we tour. We never use FP+ for Splash or BTMRR. FrontierLand is wonderful at RD!
