Early Morning Magic in August - watching for ADRs to go live!

Thanks for posting... I was able to book my date for August. I had checked several times this morning and was about to go on with my day:)

Great, I'll be canceling my now useless 8am BoG breakfast for 8/7/16 if anyone wants it...

And I think this is why early morning magic exists. Because people were getting pre-park reservations just to get in line (or get on) a ride before park opening.
Disney basically just made this "official" and monetized it (and extended it to more than just 7DMT). Pretty smart move. Now more people KNOW this is possible (not just people on sites like these) and can experience it without having to get a very rare reservation.

Disney would be silly to not extend this EMM to the other parks.

An early morning magic in Epcot that involves the Frozen ride, the A&E meet and greet and maybe one more ride (like Test Track?) .. Just based on the excitement people on this thread have about EMM, people will gobble that up for a chance to get on the Frozen ride with NO wait.

I would jump all over an experience like this, be it morning or late like the DAH, for any of the upcoming new attractions/lands (Star Wars land, Toy Story land, Pandora, maybe even Frozen). I think they may be doing this to get a feel for what they can charge, etc for this event for those upcoming new lands that will be crazy busy and very difficult to get FPs for.

I have no interest in this MK one, but your idea I would most definitely consider!

Exactly.

I envision them extending this to AK when Pandora opens and DHS when the other lands opens .. heck maybe even before those open.

Why not?
They get people to pay a premium price for a breakfast and they need minimal staff to run a few rides for an hour.
AND People like the idea.

Essentially the EMM is letting you pay for a breakfast and three extra fast passes for the day without really affecting the rest of the park guests. I can see this being in VERY high demand.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw all the updates that people were booking, so exciting! I got my Aug 28th date and cancelled my PPO BOG. I'm so glad they changed to Sunday for this because the Saturday and Tuesday would just not have worked for us at all.

Back to waiting on just the Star Wars Dessert Party.

Just booked this for September 20th! I have a Halloween party ticket for that night too. Oy. It's gonna be a BIG day at the MK!

Someone remind me, is this a pre-paid, non-refundable ticket?
It's prepaid but I think it's refundable. Cancel policy on it states "There is a 1 day cancellation policy. Full price will be charged / forfeited if Guest cancels within 1 day or no shows for the reservation."

Question --

I have BOG breakfast for 8/30. So I guess I'll be held up outside the restaurant?

On another day 9/6, I have the Crystal Palace at 8am -- last year we left breakfast before rope drop and got photos in front of the castle all by ourselves, and then split up -- girls got in line for Merida, boys got in line for Space Mtn ahead of the rope drop crowd. Will we be able to do this or do you think we'll be held up outside the restaurant?

I was able to book a bit before 10 this morning for August 16th!

Just got ours for 8/23 -- thanks for updating (and compulsively checking), because I checked earlier this morning then forgot about it! I will only add that it didn't show up in the app, only on the website.

Where do you see that? I went through the motions to pay but didn't want to go to the final screen, is that where it says you can cancel up to a day before?

I did the same because I was so excited to just get it booked! I went to my confirmation email and it's in there down in all the terms and conditions. I had to read twice to find it, but it is there.

Are you guys sure about 1 day cancellation? The WDW site says "The number of Guests admitted to these events is limited. In addition, all reservations are non-refundable, non-transferrable and are only valid for admission during the special event date and hours."

I interpreted that as no cancellation at all.

That's what I read and that's what concerned me. It sounds like you get different information in the fine print of your confirmation email. It stinks that they don't match though.

Copied directly from my confirmation email:
