Early Morning Hours The day I planned Pre-RD BOG

I have a pre-rope drop for BOG on Tuesday July 26, I see now that they have added early morning hours to that day. I don't think I would have bought them anyway, but they are not available for that date.

Should I change my plans for that day? How much will this affect my touring?

I think they haven't opened for booking yet, so you probably still have the option of switching if you want. I've heard other people who had PPO BOG were able to get in one ride on 7dmt right before the rope drop people came through.

We had a PPO BOG on 5/17 when they had EMM. But for seeing a handful of people with purple wristbands, we wouldn't have known there had been an event. Peter Pan was a walk on at rope drop, and another Diser there on the same day was led from BOG to 7DMT before the rope drop crowd arrived. I wouldn't change plans just for that.

Are you talking about Early Morning Magic or Extra Magic Hours? If its Early Morning Magic it wont affect you that much. We did BOG PPO breakfast twice a couple weeks ago. Both days we did it was Early Morning Magic days. It didnt affect us much at all. We ate breakfast and got out a little after 8:30. Got in line for Mine Train. Around 8:45 we were allowed to ride. We were able to ride twice before the Park opening crowd came in. Hope that helps.

Glad you asked this. We are doing MK on 9/6 with a BOG POO and just saw they added the Early Morning Magic that day. I'm relieved to see it doesn't affect us much.

We did EMM on May 17th, which was sold out, and there were so few people doing it that I don't think it would have made any difference to anyone else. I don't know if you would have known the event had taken place if you weren't previously aware... So unless they really change the numbers up, I wouldn't worry about it.
