Has anyone been to WDW in the early weeks of pregnancy. Just realized DH and I will be trying for #2 right before our summer trip. Was there anything I need to know. Worries, rides, Information? Thanks.

I went to MK when I was a couple of months along. There was no problem. I just tried to take it easy, not do too much at once as far as walking, ect. I also was carful about not eating too much junk and tried to get as much rest as I could at night and naps durring the day and relax in the pool. Especially in those first 2 months, I was always so tired.
But, as far as rides and all of that went, there was no problem. The only ride that I didn't do was Space Mountain, and part of the reason for that was because DS was too short, but I probably would have still skiped it because of the rollercoaster feel of the ride.
Good Luck! pixiedust:

In Dec I was 12 weeks and really suffering with morning sickness (all day sickness really). But I reasoned I could sit and rest on a bench in WDW or I'd be at work hunched over my desk and miserable. Easy choice. I drank lots of water and really took it easy. I also found the restaurants very accomodating with my sensitive stomach. I was able to get a grilled cheese sandwich at Kona for example.

I went to Disneyland when I was about 8 weeks PG. I rode everything, including Indy. I figured my little fetus was pretty protected. I then went to WDW about 6 weeks later (at 14 weeks) and passed on all the "thrill" rides that had pregnancy warnings. I stood in line with my DH and then took the Chicken Exit.

We found out I was pregnant with DS the a week before we left for WDW in 2002. I was about 5 weeks pregnant when we arrived at Disney. I did all the rides without any problems. My only problems occurred each morning we decided to go to the MK from the WL. There was no bus service at the time, so I got to experience the joy of riding on a boat with morning sickness. It was quite lovely. :crazy2: Other than being a little more tired than usual, we didn't encounter any problems. Drink lots of water and rest when your body tells you to do so! :)

I found out that I was pregnant with my son about 4 days before we left for WDW--I had no children at the time. So, I was about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant while at WDW. I didn't have any morning sickness--though I did later in that pregnancy. I drank a lot of water and stayed off space mountain and big thunder mountain. Honestly, at 5 weeks, some people don't even know that they are pregnant and I think that the fetus is pretty protected--I was just playing it real safe as it was my first pregnancy. I did shop for some cute baby clothes and had a great time!
