I have a few questions for anyone who knows the park!

We have Castle ressies for breakfast at 8:10 a.m. How early are the "gate" people there to let you in? I think we should be at the castle by 8:00 a.m. and it takes 15 minutes to walk there, right?

Also, is there a special line for early entry for reservations?

Plus, since we will be done eating by9 or 9:30, will we be allowed to stay in the park? If so, has this been helpful to anyone else? That is, not having to go through the turnstiles with the rest of the crowd or is it just as "mad" ?

Thanks!

but I think they open the gates for people with ressies (they check names) at 8am. If you finish eating before the park opens you won't need to go back out with the crowd. Just hang around the castle area. They won't let you into any of the "lands" until the park opens. They have ropes hung across. My two older kids ran for Tomorrowland and were waiting at the rope when a CM asked them if they wanted to be first riders for Space Mnt. They had a blast. They were given a certificate and everything. be sure to take advantage of photo ops in front of the castle with no one around. We had my two yr old dressed as Cinderella and got some great shots. Have fun.

I'm curious to hear more about this as well, since we have 8:05 reservations at Crystal Palace on 8/30....my birthday!

You are going to love being one of the first families in the park! We have some wonderful pictures of our two dd on Main Street. They were the only people in the picture. There will be a CM at the gate and all you have to do is give them your name or reservation number. You don't have to leave the park, enjoy your breakfast!

We had an 8:10 am PS and finished just before 9:00 am. We went right to Winnie the Pooh, were the first ones there, and my DD got to pick which character to ride with her (Tigger). The BEST ride ever and my favorite Disney memory ever!

Twice we have gone to Cinderella's breakfast and finished a few minutes before the park opens. (BTW, the line for early breakfast reservations is usally all the way to the left if you are standing facing the front of MK).

While a lot of people seem to wander over to the entrances to the different lands they want to conqeur first, the best kept secert is that Mickey and Minnie are brought out right around the front of the castle near the end of Main Street. (at least that has happened for us 3 times in 3 years).

The kids get full access to both characters and we've gotten great pictures with them in front of the castle with the two characters with no one else in sight. Those are my favorite pictures I have hanging in my house! The kid's smiles are priceless.

We are doing the opposite. I am planning on making ressies tomorrow (fingers crossed) for 10/2 at CRT. Anyway, that is EE day...
Should I try to make it for the earliest, or grab an early quick snack at WL, then go to MK for rides and make the latest breakfast ressie for "brunch"...

This is all based on the chance that I actually have a choice of times to choose from. But, what would make more sense?

Thanks,

If it were up to me, since it is already EE, grab a snack in the room, do the rides you want and make the Cindy ressie as late as possible. When we've done late ressies ie; Crystal Palace, we've got the best of both worlds. We were never rushed, the characters spent more time with us and the kids really were'nt hungry for lunch so we usually could get a way with a afternoon snack then dinner. Saved us some $. Good luck on snagging your ressie!

We went just a couple of weeks ago on an EE morning and had a 10 am ressie. It worked out great! We rode rides until about 9:35am, then walked over and got fast passes at Buzz, then headed over to check in at Cindy's. It worked perfectly, the fast passes were good as soon as breakfast was over and we grabbed fastpasses for Space Mountain before getting on Buzz.

We had an 8:05am PS for CRT... they let us in at 8:00am.... with no crowds it does not take long to walk to the castle.. we were seated immediately and it was a great meal with wonderful interaction.

Have fun

Yes this was very helpful. And no they don't make you leave. And I don't knwo what time they show up to let you in. But I think we were let in about 10 minutes before 8...within a couple minutes of having shown up...

and yeah... it was very beneficial. I mean we got out of there by 8:45 to 9 and we had the park almost to ourselves... no corwds at all ... I think it gave us a big edge on the day...and also just psychologically it gave us an edge in the sense that we had already finsihed one major activity of the day and were doing rides before most people had even got through the turnstiles or the rope drop

For my daughter I am pretty sure that was one of our best days there. And we could have taken even more advantage of it.

I got through on my 1st try!!!

We got 10:00 ressies!! Since it is EE day, we will do a few rides first, grab a fast pass for Buzz (thanks for advice ZachnElli!) and go to the Castle !!

I am so excited!! Now I can be a little more at ease about the trip. I was so intent on getting the ressies...that's all I thought about!

Oh, BTW, I asked the CM about changes being made to PS ressies as of 8/4, tomorrow. She said, "I can't tell you anything about that, but I suggest you call tomorrow morning at 7:00 for any other PS you may have!"

Doing the "I got PS for CRT" Dance! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Congrats!! I hope you have a great time! We just ate some poptarts before EE, had to have some energy!:Pinkbounc
