I know this has been talked about before on here, but I am so confused!
Tomorrow (thursday) is going to be our first day at DLand.
It says the park opens at 8:00.
Thursday is an early entry day, right?
So does that mean we can get in at 7:00, or 7:30???

We just go to the line, show our voucher, and we can get in early??

Please help!!

Thanks! :earsgirl:

Usually how the vouchers work is that you go to one of the windows where you purchase the park tickets and redeem it there. They don't take the vouchers at the parks entrance. You have to have an actual ticket. They explain about the early entry at that time. Your ticket will already have the early admission on there. What we usually do with our vouchers is go the night before to the resort and redeem them and go back to the hotel. That way we avoid an extra line to stand in. Ask the front desk at your hotel about the early entry time they should have that information for you. :earsgirl:

Where are you getting your info on the park hours?
Disney's site says 10am for Thursday.
I am going to DL on Friday so it interests me to find out if the park is opening up extra early like that.

Disney.com has most of the show times.
I have gleaned others like The Princess Storytimes etc from asking on here.

This is probably too late to help you, but I found out some important information about early entry when we went.

The day we used early entry they let us go through the main gate at 8:30 am and then we had to wait until 9:00 am to go past the end of main street. The park opened at 10:00 am. However, the ticket windows open one hour before the park. This would have been a problem since we were already through the main gate before they opened. :confused3

So we redeemed our ticket voucher at the ticket window the night before we went to the park. It did not count as one of our 3 days of use, but allowed us to actually use early entry on the first day.

I can't think of any way you can use early entry if you are redeeming ticket vouchers the same day.

Hopefully you didn't have problems. Maybe this will help others.

The park opened at 10 today. We got there about 9:00, had to stand in a very long line (almost to the California letters!) We got into the park at 9:20. Went on Astro Orbitors first, with no wait, then Space Mountain. (very cool!)
Went to Autopia after that, and had to wait about 20 minutes. That was our longest ride of the day.
So the EE worked pretty good.

Have an awesome time, Its snowin here in alberta ;)

Enjoy your trip and use EE and fastpasses when you can :)

Hope to see a trip report when you get back.

I'm glad it worked out alright. Hope your having fun!
