Early Entry Question

Are you able to utilize Early Entry on the day that you check out of a DLR hotel?

Yes. We arrived at GCH at 6:40 am, checked in, got our keys, left our bags with them, and went to line up for EE around 7:00 am.

I'm only (slightly) serious with this question: can we use EE on previous stays at GCH when EE wasn't in effect? Kidding...kind of....

Traditionally it has opened right at rope drop. That’s because the monorail is considered to be within the park complete with ticket scanning before you load. For that reason I don’t recommend taking it at rope drop. If it is delayed you will still then have to hoof it all the way through Downtown Disney and get in line behind everybody who has been waiting there already.

Last Saturday monorails were running for early entry. They put out signs indicating it for you. At 8:00am all guests were allowed to enter.
